Well, let me tell ya about this Happy Indoor Soccer place, down here in Modesto. It’s a real somethin’!
What is Happy Indoor Soccer?
It ain’t complicated, you know? It’s just a place where folks go to play soccer, but inside. No need to worry ’bout the weather, rain or shine, you can kick that ball around. They got all sorts of teams, young ‘uns, old folks, men, women, all playin’ together. It’s a good way to get some exercise and have a bit of fun, I reckon.
Leagues and Teams
They got a whole bunch of leagues, you see. They got leagues for the little kids, like the under-8s, under-10s, all the way up to under-16s. Then they got leagues for the grown-ups too, men’s leagues, women’s leagues, and even leagues where the men and women play together, they call that “co-ed.” I hear tell they got some new leagues startin’ up soon too. Something about a Friday co-ed league, startin’ in September, I think. And another one in March. If you wanna know more, you gotta call them, somethin’ like 209-996-6196. Talk to Gabriel, he knows all about it.
Games and Schedules
They play games all the time, seems like. Different days, different times. I seen some schedules posted up, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays… They got games for the youngsters, games for the veterans. Lots of teams, too. Names like Chivas, Fuego, Aztecs, Toritos, Panthers… all sorts of names. They even keep track of who’s winnin’ and losin’. You can find it online, if you’re fancy like that. But me? I just hear about it from my grandkids.
- Youth Leagues: U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16
- Adult Leagues: Men’s, Women’s, Co-ed
Where is it?
It’s right here in Modesto, over on Blankenburg Avenue. Number 142, they say. Easy to find, if you know where you’re goin’. If not, well, you can always ask someone. Or look it up on them fancy phones, I guess.
What folks say?
Now, I ain’t been there myself, but I hear tell it’s a good place. People say it’s the best place to play indoor soccer in Modesto. They say it’s new, clean, and got lots of different leagues. So, if you’re lookin’ for a place to kick a ball around, this might be it.
Why it’s good, ya know?
It keeps the young’uns busy, that’s for sure. Instead of them sittin’ around all day, they’re runnin’ and kickin’. Good for their health, I say. And the grown-ups too! Gets them movin’ and shakin’. And it’s a good way to meet folks, make some friends. We all need a little bit of that, don’t we? It ain’t just about kickin’ a ball, see? It’s about gettin’ together, havin’ a laugh, and bein’ part of somethin’. That’s what I appreciates.
