Well, let me tell ya ’bout this food court at that Fort Lauderdale airport. It’s somethin’ else, I tell ya. You get all sorts of folks there, from all over, and they gotta eat, right? So, they got this food place, real big, lots of stuff to pick from.
Food, Food Everywhere!
The airport, they call it FLL, it’s got food like you wouldn’t believe. They got fast food, the kind you grab and go, and then they got them fancy places, where you sit down and they bring you stuff. But this food court, it’s for everyone. You know, the regular folks like me and you, just needin’ a bite before we fly off somewhere or when we get there all tired and hungry.
They got all sorts of places to eat in that airport, not just in the food court. Scattered all over, they say. Like, little cafes, bars, all that. But the food court, that’s where the action is. It’s got a bit of everything, so you don’t gotta go wanderin’ around.

They got places for salads, you know, for the healthy folks. And grains, whatever those are. Sounds like bird food to me, but some folks like it. They got this place in Terminal 1, Concourse C, they say has good salads. Don’t know the number, somethin’ like 954-727-2662, if you care about that sort of thing. Me, I just look for the pictures of the food.
And get this, even before you go through all that security stuff, where they make you take off your shoes and all, they got food. This Chef Allen’s place, makes sandwiches and salads. Sounds alright, I guess. Then there’s this Corona place, they got beer and wings. Now that sounds more like it! And if you’re in a real hurry, there’s Chili’s, they got soups and wraps, chips and salsa, that kinda stuff. Get ya full and get ya on that plane fast.
What to Eat in Fort Lauderdale?
Now, if you’re in Fort Lauderdale, they say you gotta eat seafood. Lots of fish, they catch right there in the water. Tacos with fish, somethin’ called grouper and sea bass. Sounds fancy, but I bet it tastes good. You can probably find some of that in the airport too, though I ain’t sure if the food court has it. But if you’re hungry outside of the airport, go get ya some of that fish! They say it’s real good.

And of course, they got that Chick-fil-A place. Everyone loves that chicken, even though they’re closed on Sundays. That’s a bit silly, if you ask me. Who closes a food place on a Sunday? But folks line up for it anyway. They got one in Fort Lauderdale, on North Federal Highway, number 2650, if you wanna go there. But they might have one in the airport too, I ain’t sure.
Other Stuff To Do, If You Ain’t Eating
Now, if you ain’t flying anywhere, but you’re just stuck in Fort Lauderdale, there’s other stuff to do besides eatin’. They got this big mall, Sawgrass Mills, but it’s real big, you’ll get tired walkin’ around. Or you can go on a boat, see them alligators in the Everglades. That sounds kinda scary to me. Or just cruise around on a water taxi, that sounds nice. And if it’s rainin’, there’s a casino, the Hard Rock place. But I’d rather eat. That’s always a good way to pass the time.
Back to the Food Court…
So, this food court in the Fort Lauderdale airport, it’s got somethin’ for everyone. Whether you want a quick bite or a big meal, you can find it there. And that’s important, you know? When you’re travelin’, you gotta eat. Keeps you goin’. So, next time you’re at that FLL airport, check out the food court. You won’t be disappointed, I reckon.
It’s got food for the young ‘uns, the old ‘uns, and everyone in between. And that’s what makes a good food court, right? Plenty of choices for everyone, and somethin’ to fill yer belly before you hop on that plane. Just remember where to find it. Just ask somebody! They got people there to help you find your way. And don’t be shy, ask what’s good. The folks workin’ there, they know what’s what. They can tell you what to eat. That’s their job, right?
