This Minnesota Zoo, I tell ya, it’s somethin’ else. Heard folks talkin’ ’bout the food court there, so I thought I’d share what I know. You go there, you see all them animals, walkin’ and walkin’, you get hungry, right?
Now, they got this place, a food court, where you can get your grub. I heard it’s called “Call of the Wild”. Sounds fancy, huh? But it’s just your regular stuff, I reckon. Burgers and hot dogs, chicken if you like that. They got salads too, if you’re watchin’ your figure, like some folks do.
Eatin’ at the Zoo
They say you can bring your own food too. Pack yourself a sandwich, some fruit, whatever you like. Ain’t that somethin’? They got picnic tables all over the place, so you can sit down and have yourself a little feast. Just don’t be bringin’ them nuts, though. Some folks, they’re allergic, you see. Gotta be careful with that kind of thing. Be mindful of others, that’s what my mama always said.

- Bring your own grub
- They got picnic tables
- No nuts allowed
Now, if you don’t wanna bring your own, like I said, they got that food court. Prices, well, it’s like anywhere else these days. Not cheap, that’s for sure. Kids, they cost a little less to get in, ’round 12 dollars. Adults, well, you’re payin’ 18. And if you’re old like me, 65 or older, it’s back to 12. Parking, that’s another 7 dollars. They get you comin’ and goin’, don’t they?
But this zoo, it’s big. Lots to see. They got all kinds of critters. Takes a whole day, I’d say, to see it all. And when you’re walkin’ that much, you get hungry. That’s when that food court comes in handy. You get tired, you need a rest, you need a bite to eat.
I hear they got a new partner, sellin’ coffee now. Caribou Coffee, that’s what it’s called. Fancy, huh? Me, I just like my coffee black. But hey, if you like that fancy stuff, they got it.
Other Places to Eat, Too
Now, if that Minnesota Zoo food ain’t to your likin’, there are other places around. Some folks was talkin’ ’bout Southern Social, and Ansari’s Mediterranean Grill. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I don’t know what that Mediterranean stuff is, but it sounds expensive. Then there’s this Eagan Arms Public House, and Mason Jar Kitchen. And Doolittles Woodfire Grill. See, plenty of places to fill your belly if that zoo food don’t do it for ya.
Minnesota Zoo food court, it’s there, it’s convenient. You can get your burgers, your hot dogs, your chicken. But if you want somethin’ different, there are other places. And if you’re smart, you’ll pack your own lunch. Save yourself some money.
- Food court has burgers, hot dogs, chicken
- Other restaurants nearby
- Packin’ your own food saves money
Zoo is Big, Lots to See
This zoo, it’s a big place. You gotta wear good shoes, I tell ya. Lots of walkin’. You’ll see all kinds of animals. They got this pond in the middle, too. Pretty, I guess. But it’s the animals folks come to see. And they got plenty of ’em. This Minnesota Zoo, it’s somethin’ to see, that’s for sure.
Now if you go, and you eat at that food court, you let me know what you think. Is it any good? Is it worth the money? Or should folks just bring their own sandwiches? I’m curious, you see.
I reckon they got enough food to keep everyone happy. You can eat there at the food court or try those other restaurants. Or you can just bring your own grub. Whatever you do, you won’t go hungry at the Minnesota Zoo. That’s one thing for sure.
- Wear good shoes, lots of walking
- Zoo has many animals
- You won’t go hungry at the zoo
So there ya have it. That’s what I know ’bout the food at the Minnesota Zoo. Hope you have fun if you go. And watch out for them animals! They are wild, you know. And keep in mind, if you want to save a few bucks, pack a lunch. A good old sandwich never hurt nobody!
