Okay, let me tell you about my little adventure at the Fort Campbell food court the other day. So, I was in Fort Campbell area, feeling a bit peckish, and I thought, “Why not check out the local food scene?” I remembered hearing something about a food court, so I decided to give it a shot.
First off, I did a bit of digging around. I found out that the food court is located at 2840 Bastogne Ave. It’s called the PX Food Court. It’s easy to find it. And I also found out that there is another snack bar called 19th Hole Snack Bar, and its address is 1610 101st Airborne Division Road. I decided to go to the PX Food Court first.
I got there, and the place was buzzing! Lots of people were milling around, grabbing a bite to eat. It was pretty busy, but not so packed that I couldn’t find a spot to sit. I strolled around, checking out all the different food stalls. I can’t remember all, but there was a lot of variety – from what I recall, there were some classic American fast food, some Asian-inspired stuff. You know, the usual food court fare.

I ended up going for some food from Charley’s. They serve something like sandwich and fries. The food was pretty good. I mean, it’s food court food, so you’re not expecting gourmet, but it hit the spot. I saw some other folks with some tasty-looking food from other stalls, so I made a mental note to try those next time.
After eating, I took a little walk around the area. I noticed they had these things called “warrior restaurants” but didn’t get a chance to look into them. Maybe they’re special eateries for the soldiers? I’m not sure, but it sounded interesting. Also, I heard they have a special deal every Wednesday at this place called The Warrior Zone. It’s called “75 Wing Night”, which means you can get chicken wings at 75 cents each. And it opens every day except Tuesday at 11am.
And then, I decided to visit the 19th Hole Snack Bar. It’s not far from the food court. But I found it was not open that day. Too bad, but at least I know where it is.
So, that was my experience at the Fort Campbell food court. It’s a decent place to grab a quick meal if you’re in the area. Nothing fancy, but good enough to satisfy your hunger. Plus, it’s cool to see all the military folks and their families hanging out there. It’s like a little slice of life at Fort Campbell.
