Well, lemme tell ya, Staten Island Mall’s food court, it ain’t fancy, but it’s got a little somethin’ for everybody. You walk in there, and right away, you’ll see a bunch of places that smell real good. I ain’t no expert, but when it smells good, it usually means the food’s alright, right? You know, back in the day, we didn’t have all these choices in one spot, but now folks can go and eat what they want, without even leaving the mall.

One thing I noticed is they got all kinds of food. Charleys Cheesesteaks, for example, they make these sandwiches that’s loaded with meat and cheese, real messy, but boy, it fills ya up. Then you got Kong Dog, and lemme tell ya, that place is somethin’ else. They take hot dogs and put all kinds of crazy stuff on ’em. Not what I’d call a “regular” hot dog, but if you like tryin’ new things, you’ll like it.
Now, I ain’t gonna lie, sometimes the food court gets real busy, especially on weekends. You see, Staten Island Mall is pretty big, so folks from all over come here to shop and eat. But the food court’s set up nice enough. They got tables all over, and if you’re lucky, you’ll find a spot to sit and enjoy your food without too much fuss. If you’re into healthier stuff, they got Sofia’s Guac Bar. They do all that guacamole stuff, and I hear it’s fresh, too. I ain’t big on guacamole myself, but people seem to like it.
Another thing about the Staten Island Mall food court is it’s got that whole mix of fast food and some local spots, too. There’s this place called LoKel-Li Vendor Market, and I reckon it’s for folks that wanna try somethin’ that ain’t your typical mall food. It’s different, maybe a bit fancier than what I’m used to, but it’s there if you want it.
Now, if you got kids, bring ’em along, ’cause they love this kinda place. Lots of bright lights, noises, and there’s somethin’ about the smell of fresh food that gets ’em excited.
- You can get pizza for the picky ones,
- tacos for the adventurous eaters,
- and then you got your regular burgers and fries for folks who don’t wanna stray too far from what they know.
For all y’all wonderin’ if you can bring your furry friends, I saw a few people with their small dogs on leashes, and no one seemed to mind, long as the dogs behave. That’s nice, ain’t it? Back in the day, you’d never see dogs in places like this, but times are changin’. Now, service animals are always welcome, of course, that’s the law.
So, if you’re thinkin’ about headin’ over to Staten Island Mall, and you get a little hungry, the food court’s got somethin’ for you. Whether you’re after a big ol’ cheesesteak, a fancy guacamole bowl, or just a plain ol’ slice of pizza, you’ll find it. And hey, even if you don’t find somethin’ you like, there’s always ice cream or pretzels to hold ya over while you shop.
