Okay, here is a blog post about renting an indoor soccer field, written from my personal experience and perspective:
So, me and the guys decided we wanted to get a game of indoor soccer going. We used to play all the time back in the day, and figured it would be a blast to get back into it. First thing we had to do was find a place to play. This is how it all went down.
Finding a Place
I started by hitting up Google, just searching for “indoor soccer fields near me”. A bunch of places popped up, some were pretty far, some were closer. We wanted something convenient, you know? Nobody wants to drive an hour just to kick a ball around.

Checking Them Out
We started checking out the websites of a few of the closer spots. Some of them looked pretty legit, nice turf fields, good lighting in the pictures. Others, well, not so much. Dimly lit, old-school astroturf, you could practically smell the musty locker rooms through the screen. No thanks.
Making Some Calls
After narrowing it down to a couple of promising options, we started making some phone calls. First place I called, the guy who answered was super helpful. He gave me all the pricing info, told me about the different field sizes, and what times were available. He even mentioned they had a little snack bar area, which was a bonus.
The second place, not so much. The person on the phone sounded like I was interrupting their nap or something. They were giving me one word answers. Getting information was like pulling teeth. I was able to get the prices but, yeah, we crossed them off the list pretty quick.
Booking the Field
Based on the vibe and the info we got, we decided to go with the first place. I called them back up, and booked a field for a Saturday afternoon. They took my details and asked me a credit card number over the phone to secure the spot. I paid a deposit, and the rest would be paid when we got there to play. Easy peasy.
Game Time!
Saturday rolled around, and we were all pumped. We showed up at the field, paid the rest of the cost, and got our game on. The place was exactly as advertised – nice field, good lighting, and everyone had a great time. We even grabbed some snacks and drinks from the snack bar afterwards.
Wrapping Up
All in all, renting the indoor soccer field was a pretty smooth process. A little bit of online searching, a few phone calls, and we were good to go. We’re definitely going to do it again. It was a great way to hang out, get some exercise, and relive our glory days. If you’re thinking about getting a game together, I say go for it! Just maybe avoid that second place we called. You’ll thank me later.
