Okay, so today I’m gonna talk about my trip to the Indian Mound Mall food court. I’ve heard mixed things, but you know me, I gotta check it out for myself.
First off, I drove over to the mall. Parking wasn’t too bad, found a spot pretty easily near the entrance. I walked in, and the first thing I noticed was how dated the place looked. It definitely had that old-school mall vibe, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, just… noticeable.
Food Court Exploration
I headed straight for the food court. It wasn’t huge, but there were a decent number of options. Saw your typical fast-food joints like:

- Subway
- Sbarro
- Some Chinese place
I decided to go for the Chinese place because, well, I was craving some General Tso’s chicken. Placed my order, and the guy behind the counter was nice enough. Got my food pretty quickly, which was good because I was starving.
I sat down at one of the tables. The seating area was okay, nothing fancy. Noticed a few families, some teenagers, and a couple of older folks just chilling. It was pretty clean, I’ll give them that. Saw a janitor going around, wiping down tables and stuff.
Now, for the food. Honestly, it was… alright. Nothing to write home about, but it filled me up. The General Tso’s was a bit too sweet for my liking, but the rice was cooked well. I ate most of it, then threw away the rest.
After I finished eating, I walked around the mall a bit more. Checked out a few stores, but didn’t buy anything. The whole place felt kind of empty, to be honest. Not a lot of people around, which is a shame. Then I got back to my car and drove home.
Overall, the Indian Mound Mall food court is just your average mall food court. It’s not gonna blow your mind, but it’s a decent place to grab a quick bite if you’re in the area. Would I go back? Maybe, if I was really hungry and happened to be at the mall. But I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. That is all about my experience of exploring the Indian Mound Mall food court.
