Okay, so today’s little project was a bit… different. I saw this “food court stabbing” headline and, well, my morbid curiosity got the better of me. I decided to dig into what actually happened.
First, I hit up Google News. You know, just a basic search for “food court stabbing”. I figured I’d get a bunch of recent results, and I was right.
I started skimming through the headlines and clicking on articles from what looked like real news sites – you know, the ones that don’t look like they were made in five minutes on a free website builder.

What I’m finding
- It looks like these are happening with some, not a lot, of frequency!
- A lot of the information are all over the place, some news is old.
It’s actually kind of, some are pretty rough to read. Real people, real situations, all happening in a place where you’d normally just grab a quick bite.I feel bad, it’s not fun to read.
I tried to piece together a timeline, but honestly, it was all a bit jumbled. So many different incidents, different places, different times. It was hard to get a clear picture of any one event, let alone all of them.
I am wrapping up this exploration. I satisfied my curiosity, I guess, but it wasn’t exactly a fun ride. More of a reminder that the world can be a pretty messed up place sometimes. I think I’ll stick to cat videos for the rest of the day.
