Okay, so today I decided to hit up the Kendall Square food court. I’d heard some buzz about it, and, well, I’m always up for trying new food spots. Gotta fuel the content, right?
First thing I did was, you know, get there. Parking was, let’s just say, an experience. I circled around for a good 15 minutes before finally snagging a spot a few blocks away. Note to self: next time, maybe consider taking the T, or at least arriving way earlier.
Scoping Out the Scene
Once I finally made it inside, I was immediately hit with, like, a wall of delicious smells. So many choices! It was a little overwhelming at first, I’m not gonna lie. I did a quick lap around to get the lay of the land, trying to peek at what everyone else was eating.

- Lots of people. This place was packed, mostly folks on their lunch breaks, I guess.
- Tons of options. Everything from sushi to sandwiches to, I think I even saw some arepas. Seriously, a little bit of everything.
- Slightly chaotic. Finding a table was almost as challenging as finding parking.
The Food Decision
After my reconnaissance mission, I narrowed it down to two contenders: a place doing some seriously tempting-looking ramen, and another spot with these crazy loaded salads. I’m usually a ramen fiend, but, it was such a nice day, so I went with the salad. Needed those greens, you know?
I ended up getting this thing with grilled chicken, roasted veggies, some kind of fancy cheese, and a lemon vinaigrette. Sounds basic, I know, but trust me, it was amazing. Fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly filling. I wolfed it down.
The Final Verdict
Overall, the Kendall Square food court is a solid lunch spot. I will say, with the whole parking and table situation, it’s probably best to go during off-peak hours, maybe avoid the lunch rush. But the food? Totally worth it. I’ll definitely be back to tackle that ramen place next time.
