Okay, so yesterday I decided to hit up Macy’s in NYC, not for shopping, but for the food court. I’d heard mixed things, but I was in the area and feeling peckish, so I thought, why not?
Finding the Food Court
First off, finding the food court was a mini-adventure. Macy’s is HUGE. I wandered around for a bit, asked a sales associate who pointed me in the right direction – up a couple of escalators, if I remember correctly.
The Options
Once I got there, it was… well, it was a food court. Not super fancy, but with a decent variety. I remember seeing the usual suspects:

- Pizza
- Some kind of Asian place
- A sandwich/salad spot
- I think there was a burger joint too
My Choice
I wasn’t starving, so I opted for a slice of pizza. It was pretty standard food court pizza – nothing to write home about, but it hit the spot. I grabbed a soda and found a table. The seating area was a bit crowded, but I managed to snag a spot.
The Vibe
The overall vibe was busy, but not chaotic. Lots of people grabbing a quick bite between shopping. It was clean enough, although some tables needed a wipe-down.
Final Thoughts
So, would I go back specifically for the food court? Probably not. But if I’m at Macy’s and need a quick, affordable meal, it does the job. It’s convenient, and the food is perfectly fine. Don’t expect a gourmet experience, but for a food court, it’s decent enough.
