Okay, so today I decided to hit up the Millennium Mall food court. I’d heard some mixed reviews, but I was in the area and feeling adventurous (and hungry!).
First off, finding the place was, surprisingly not easy. I mean you thought a mall’s food court will be, easy, right? I ended up walking around for a good 10 minutes before I spotted it tucked away in a corner on the second floor. Note to self: check the mall directory before wandering aimlessly.
Once I got there, I was, how do I put this…whelmed? It wasn’t super crowded, which was a plus, but the selection was a little basic. Lots of the usual suspects: a pizza place, a burger joint, some Chinese food, and a place doing those overloaded baked potatoes.

The Food Finding Process
- Walked into food court. Eyes scanned quickly to find the signs.
- There are fried chicken, pizza, and even salad.
- Found the stall that I was looking for.
I ended up going for the Chinese place because the orange chicken smelled pretty good. The line wasn’t too bad, maybe five people ahead of me. I got the two-item combo with orange chicken, fried rice, and some questionable-looking chow mein. Honestly, it was pretty standard mall Chinese food. The orange chicken was a little too sweet, the rice was a bit dry, and the chow mein was, well, let’s just say I’ve had better.
Finding a table was another mini-adventure. It wasn’t packed, but all the good spots by the windows were taken. I snagged a table near the trash cans, which wasn’t ideal, but hey, at least I had a place to sit.
After I found the table:
- Sat down and eat the food.
- Checked my phone for a while.
- Looked around a little bit, doing some people-watching.
Overall, the Millennium Mall food court experience was…okay. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t anything to write home about (or, you know, blog about in great detail). It filled my stomach, which was the main goal. Would I go back? Probably not unless I was really desperate and already at the mall. There are just so many better options out there. My search for the perfect mall food court continues!
