My Trip to the Money Tree Today
So, I decided to check out the Money Tree in Neopia Central earlier. Haven’t been there in a while, figured I’d see what was up. You know, sometimes you hear people finding cool stuff, but mostly it’s just… well, stuff.
Getting there was easy, just the usual click through Neopia Central. When the page loaded, it was the same old tree, branches loaded with items and some Neopoints floating around. Lots of other Neopians were there too, you could practically feel the frantic clicking through the screen.
I started watching the items pop up. Mostly junk, to be honest.

- Half-eaten berries
- Old boots
- Piles of sludge
- Maybe a cheap toy now and then
I tried clicking on a few things. First, I saw a Lesser Healing Scroll. Clicked it super fast! But nope, someone else beat me to it. That happened a few times. You really gotta have quick reflexes, or maybe just good luck with the page refresh.
Trying to Grab Something
I kept trying. Clicked on a Starry Biscuit – gone. Clicked on 100 Neopoints – vanished before the page even seemed to finish loading for me. It’s a bit of a gamble, really. Sometimes you see something decent, but it’s gone in a flash.
After a few more misses, I finally managed to snag something! It was just a Tchea Fruit. Nothing fancy, but hey, free is free, right? I kept going, trying my luck.
Over the next few minutes, I managed to grab a few more items:
- A bottle of water
- A Cheops Plant
- Another 50 Neopoints
- A Plain Omelette
I think I grabbed maybe 5 or 6 things in total. I remembered reading somewhere or hearing that you’re only supposed to take 10 items a day from the Money Tree. I wasn’t sure if I was close, but I felt like I’d spent enough time clicking frantically.
Heard some folks say if you keep trying after you hit the limit, you risk getting stuff stolen by those annoying ghosts. Didn’t want to risk that for another piece of junk, honestly. It’s just not worth the potential hassle. So, I decided to call it quits for the day.
Final Thoughts
So yeah, that was my Money Tree adventure today. It’s chaotic, fast-paced, and mostly filled with low-value items. But, you can get a few freebies if you’re persistent and quick enough. Just don’t expect to get rich, and probably best to stick to that 10-item courtesy limit. It’s more about the chance of finding something than actually getting value, I guess.
