Okay, so yesterday I went to the Viewmont Mall. I was super hungry and decided to hit up the food court. I had heard some mixed things, but hey, I was in the mood for some variety, you know?
First off, I did a quick lap around the whole place to see what my options were. It’s your typical food court setup – a bunch of different counters surrounding a seating area. You got your usual suspects: pizza, burgers, some Chinese food, the works. Honestly, it all looked pretty decent, although nothing really stood out as a must-try at first glance.
- There was this pizza place called Rosario’s Pizzeria. Apparently, it’s a local favorite, but the line was kind of long, and I wasn’t feeling that patient.
- I saw a couple of burger joints. Nothing fancy, just your standard fast-food type stuff.
- There were a few places that had Chinese food, they all had similar menus.
After making my rounds, I ended up settling on getting some chicken. It was alright, nothing to write home about, but it did the job. The portion was pretty generous, so I definitely didn’t leave hungry.

The seating area was clean enough, although it did get a bit crowded during the lunch rush. I managed to snag a table, though, and chowed down while people-watching. It’s always interesting to see the different folks you find at a mall food court, right?
Overall, my experience at the Viewmont Mall food court was pretty average. It’s a good spot to grab a quick bite if you’re shopping and need to refuel, but I wouldn’t say it’s a destination in itself. If you’re in the Dickson City area and looking for something quick and easy, it’ll do the trick. But if you’re looking for something special, you might want to look elsewhere. I guess there are some other restaurants near the Viewmont Diner, but I didn’t check those out this time. Maybe next time I will.
