Well, let me tell you about this place they call the food court at Cal State LA. I don’t know what all the fuss is about, but folks say it’s a real good spot if you’re hungry and need a bite to eat. Now, I ain’t been there myself, but I’ve heard enough from the young folks around town, and I reckon it’s worth talkin’ about. It’s down at 5151 State University Drive, Los Angeles, CA. Right there in the heart of it all. Fancy address, ain’t it? And folks say they got all sorts of food to choose from.
They got this big ol’ food court they call the Golden Eagle Food Court, and I reckon it’s just a place where you can grab a quick meal between classes. Now, let me tell you, they just opened up a Panda Express there. Yup, you heard me right, a Panda Express. I ain’t ever been to one, but I reckon it’s somethin’ like Chinese food, all nice and hot. They open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., so you better hurry up if you’re lookin’ to get your fix before the day ends.
Now, I reckon that food court’s got a whole bunch of choices. I heard there’s El Pollo Loco, too. That’s that chicken place where they got all sorts of grilled chicken meals. I know some folks swear by it, but me, I like to stick to the basics. Anyway, you can get your fill there between 9 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon too, just like the Panda Express.

But that’s not all. If you’re lookin’ for somethin’ a little more fancy, there’s this other spot called The Village Commons. Now, don’t let the name fool ya, it ain’t a place to just sit around and chat, no sir. This is a place where you can get a buffet, stone-oven pizza, salads, fruit, and even made-to-order grill meals. You can even find some vegan or vegetarian options if that’s your thing. Heck, I’ve heard they got desserts too! You could probably just spend the whole day munchin’ away if you wanted to, but don’t expect to get any work done.
Now, the food court ain’t just about eatin’ either. It’s got a cozy little spot where you can sit down and unwind. If you’re lucky, you might even find some good company while you’re there. People seem to enjoy hangin’ out at the University Spot, right there near the food court. You know, just sittin’ around, chatting, and munchin’ on what they’ve grabbed from the food spots. Seems like a good way to spend a lunch break to me.
But I gotta tell ya, this place is always busy. I don’t know how the students keep up with it all, but they sure do seem to be enjoyin’ themselves. There’s always somethin’ goin’ on, and if you’re the type who enjoys the hustle and bustle, you’ll fit right in. It’s a good place to grab a quick meal or just take a break from your day.
If you’re ever in the area and you got a hunger in your belly, I’d say it’s worth swingin’ by the Cal State LA food court. You got all sorts of food to choose from, and you might even find a new favorite place to eat. Who knows? I reckon it’s always good to try somethin’ new, especially when you’re lookin’ for a quick bite.
So, there you have it. The food court at Cal State LA. A real nice place to get a meal if you’re in the neighborhood. And don’t forget, the food’s there, the people are friendly, and you’ll probably run into someone you know while you’re at it. Enjoy yourself if you decide to go, and maybe I’ll see ya there one day!
