Today I’m gonna talk about my trip to the Cape May Ferry and what I ate at their food court. So, a couple of weeks ago, my family and I decided to take a little trip to Cape May. We’d heard good things about the ferry ride, and we thought, why not? Let’s give it a shot.
First off, getting to the ferry terminal was pretty easy. We drove, and there was plenty of parking. Once we got our tickets, we headed straight to the waiting area. The whole process was smooth, no long lines or anything. While we were waiting to board, we noticed the food court. It wasn’t huge, but it had a decent variety of options.
Food Options
- Pizza: They had your standard cheese and pepperoni. Looked pretty good, smelled even better.
- Sandwiches: A few different types, like turkey, ham, and roast beef. I think I saw a veggie option too.
- Burgers and Fries: Classic. Can’t go wrong, right?
- Salads: For those who want to keep it light. They had a couple of choices, like Caesar and garden.
- Snacks: Chips, pretzels, candy, the usual.
- Drinks: Soda, water, juice, coffee.
I was feeling pretty hungry, so I went for a burger and fries. My wife opted for a turkey sandwich, and the kids got pizza. We grabbed some sodas and found a table.

Now, let’s talk about the food. My burger was, well, it was a burger. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. The fries were crispy, which is always a plus. My wife said her sandwich was good, nothing to write home about, but fresh and tasty. The kids devoured their pizza, so I guess that’s a thumbs up from them.
While we were eating, the ferry started boarding. We finished up our food and headed onto the boat. The ride itself was nice and relaxing. Great views, fresh air. We spent most of the time out on the deck, just enjoying the scenery.
Overall, the food at the Cape May Ferry food court was decent. It’s not gourmet, but it’s good enough to fill you up before or after your ferry ride. It’s convenient, and the prices weren’t outrageous. If you’re taking the ferry, it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re feeling peckish.
It’s not a fancy place, just a simple food court, but it did the job. I’d say it’s a solid option if you don’t want to pack your own food. I just wanted a quick, easy meal, and that’s what I got. Happy sailing, folks!
