Okay, so I gotta tell you about this food court I hit up at the Colonie Center Mall. I was feeling peckish after a long day of shopping, and this place was just calling my name. I heard some folks mention it’s one of the best in Colonie, NY, and they weren’t kidding!
First off, this mall is huge! I mean, they’ve got all the usual suspects like The Gap, Express, and Victoria’s Secret, but also some cool unique stores like Christmas Tree Shops. And the whole place got a makeover recently, so it looks pretty slick. They even added a two-story fireplace, which is kinda fancy, right?
The Food Court Experience
Now, let’s talk about the food court. I walked in, and the first thing I noticed was how clean and spacious it was. Plenty of seating, which is always a plus. I started wandering around, checking out the options, and let me tell you, there were a lot!
- Stir Fry 88 caught my eye first. I’m a sucker for some good stir-fry.
- Then there was Colonie Express. I didn’t stop there, but it looked like they had some quick and easy options.
- A Taste of Mexico was also there, and the smells coming from that place were amazing. I almost caved, but I was on a mission.
- I also saw Galleria 7 Market and River Street Market. They looked more like grab-and-go grocery places. But hey, options are options.
- Yum Yum Kitchen sounded promising, but I didn’t get a chance to check it out this time.
- Lastly, I passed by Global Caf. It seemed like they had a little bit of everything.
I saw someone mentioned that P.F. Chang’s is in here, but I circled the food court twice and didn’t see it. Maybe they meant nearby, but I was focused on the food court itself.
I ended up going for Crossgates Food Court. No particular reason other than it was the first place that made my stomach rumble. And hey, it didn’t disappoint! I grabbed a quick bite, and it hit the spot.
After eating, I noticed they had a movie theater right next to the food court. So, you could totally make a whole day of it – shopping, eating, and a movie. I love when they put everything in one place like that. It is so convenient!
Overall, the Colonie Center Mall food court is a solid choice. It’s clean, it’s got tons of options, and it’s right in the middle of all the shopping action. If you’re ever in Colonie, NY, and you’re feeling hungry, you should definitely check it out. You won’t regret it!
