Okay, so today I decided to check out the food court at the CTC. I’d heard some mixed reviews, but I was in the area and feeling pretty hungry, so I figured, why not?
Getting There
First off, finding the place was a bit of a mission. I mean, the CTC is huge! I wandered around for a good 10 minutes, asking a couple of people for directions, before I finally spotted the signs. It’s tucked away on the, I think, second floor? Don’t quote me on that, though. My sense of direction is, shall we say, not the best.
The Food Court Itself
Once I actually got there, I was pretty impressed. It’s a big, open space with loads of different food stalls. Lots of choices, everything from burgers and fries to noodles and sushi. There’s even a place that does, like, healthy salads and stuff, if you’re into that. I’m usually not, but hey, to each their own.

The atmosphere was pretty lively. It was lunchtime, so the place was buzzing with people – families, office workers, students, you name it. Finding a table was a bit of a challenge, but I managed to snag one after a few minutes of hovering like a hawk.
Making a Choice
Now, the hard part: deciding what to eat. Seriously, the options were overwhelming! I walked around the entire food court at least twice, trying to weigh up my options.
- There was this one place that had amazing-smelling pizza, but the line was crazy long.
- I was tempted by the ramen place, but I wasn’t sure I was in the mood for soup.
- The burger joint looked good, but I’d had a burger like two days ago.
What i got
Finally, after much internal debate, I settled on some fried chicken with rice, and that’s what I ordered. The line moved pretty quickly, and the staff were friendly enough, even though they were clearly rushed off their feet.
The Verdict
The fried chicken? Actually pretty good! It was crispy, not too greasy, and the flavor was on point. The price was a bit higher than what I’d usually pay for lunch, but I guess that’s to be expected in a place like this. Overall, I’d say the CTC food court is a solid option if you’re in the area and need a quick and varied bite to eat. Just be prepared for a bit of a crowd, and maybe do a bit of recon beforehand to avoid my aimless wandering!
