Alright, so you wanna know about that CSUDH food court, huh? Well, let me tell ya, it’s a place where folks go to eat, plain and simple. Not much fancy stuff, just food for the belly.
I heard tell they call it Mosaic Food Co. Sound like a bunch of fancy words to me. But it’s just a place with different food stands, you know? Like one place has burgers, another has pizza, that kinda thing.
They got somethin’ called “Street Food” too. Sounds funny, right? Like you’d be eatin’ on the street corner? But it ain’t like that. It’s just another place to get food. One time they was sellin’ hot dogs wrapped in bacon. Now, that ain’t bad, I tell ya. A good hot dog can fill ya up right quick.

- Other stuff, I dunno, I ain’t ate there every day!
Now, I heard some talk that the food court was gonna close down. Yeah, people were all upset, sayin’ “Where we gonna eat now?”. But I reckon they figured somethin’ out, cause it’s still there, last I checked. Folks need a place to eat, ya know, especially them young’uns at the California State University, Dominguez Hills. They call it a “campus”, sounds like a place with trees to me. But it’s just a big school where them young’uns go to learn things.
So this food court, it’s on that “campus.” Easy for them students to get to, I guess. They walk over, get their food, then go back to learnin’ or whatever they do. I ain’t been to school in a long time, so I don’t rightly know.
The food, it’s alright. Not like home cookin’, mind you, but it’ll do. They got all sorts of things, like I said. And the prices? Well, they ain’t cheap, but what is these days? Everything costs a pretty penny, ain’t it? You gotta pay to eat, that’s the way the world works.
I saw some pictures of the food on that “Instagram” thing. Them young’uns are always takin’ pictures of their food. I don’t get it, but whatever makes ’em happy, I guess. The food looked good in the pictures, all colorful and whatnot. But pictures ain’t the same as eatin’, you know? You gotta taste it to know if it’s any good.
CSUDH campus dining, that’s what they call it. Sounds important, but it’s just a place to grab a bite. Don’t let all them fancy words fool ya. It’s food, plain and simple. And that’s what matters, right? Fillin’ your belly so you can get on with your day. Whether you’re a student or just someone passin’ through, you gotta eat.
So, if you’re ever at that Dominguez Hills place, and you’re hungry, go check out the food court. They got somethin’ for everyone, I reckon. Just don’t expect no fancy five-star restaurant, you hear? It’s just a place to get some food, and that’s all there is to it. Nothin’ more, nothin’ less. Food for the belly, that’s what they got.
And that Instagram thing, the @mosaic_foodco, they post pictures of what they’re sellin’. Helps folks decide what they wanna eat, I guess. Times sure have changed, back in my day we just ate what was put in front of us. But these young’uns, they gotta have their choices and their pictures.
Anyway, that’s about all I know about that CSUDH food court. It’s there, it sells food, and folks eat there. End of story. Nothin’ more to it.
