This here’s about that Modesto mall food court, you know, the place at the Vintage Faire Mall. That place is always bustlin’, people walkin’ around, eatin’ and shoppin’. My old bones ain’t what they used to be, but I still go there sometimes.
They got all kinds of food there. Last time I went, seemed like they had more than before. Lots of folks like that Costco food court. They say it’s cheap and you get a lot. I seen them big hot dogs. Those things are huge! They also sell pizza.
Food at the Modesto Mall
That Modesto mall food court got somethin’ for everyone, I reckon. Even them picky eaters. I saw families eating together, kids runnin’ around. Reminds me of when my own young’uns were little. Now they’re all grown up with kids of their own. Time sure does fly.
- That Charley’s, they got them cheesesteaks.
- Folks seem to like that Fresh Grill too.
- I think I seen a place with pretzels, all twisted up like.
I ain’t too adventurous with my food. I like what I like, you know? But lots of people seem to enjoy tryin’ new things. It’s all there at the food court Modesto mall. That mall is big, you can walk around forever in there. They got all them fancy stores, clothes and shoes and whatnot.
Eatin’ Near the Modesto Mall
Now, if you don’t want to eat right inside the mall, there’s other places nearby. There’s that Mike’s Grillhouse and that BJ’s Restaurant. They’re good if you want to sit down and have a nice meal, maybe get waited on.
I heard some folks talkin’ about a place called Wildfire Public House. They say the food is good there, too. That’s near the mall, I think. I don’t get out much these days, so I don’t know all the new places.
That Bella Italia is a favorite of some folks. They like that Italian food. I never been there, but I hear good things. And that Gusto Italiano place, too. They say it’s good, but I’m not sure. I don’t even know where that’s at. It’s near the mall, so it must be easy to find.
There are some other places, too. One of them is called Hawaii Pot, and another one is The Secret Garden. It is so secret that I don’t know where they are.
More Food in Modesto
Modesto’s got more than just the mall, you know. They got that flea market, Crows Landing. I ain’t been there in a while, but they used to have all kinds of stuff. Food, clothes, you name it. It’s a real hoot, that place.
There is also a place called Redwood Cafe. I don’t know what kind of food they have. Maybe redwood trees? Just kidding. I don’t even know where that place is.
And that Mr T’s Donut. Now that’s a place I know. They got good donuts. I like them plain ones, but they got all kinds of fancy ones, too. If you’re ever in Modesto, you gotta try Mr T’s.
They also got that farmers market, Rodin Ranch. You can get fresh fruits and vegetables there. Good for you, them things. I try to eat healthy, but sometimes you just want a donut, you know?
I like to cut up my food into little pieces. Some folks say that ain’t right, but that’s how I like it. You get more bites that way, I reckon. And it’s easier on the teeth. My teeth ain’t what they used to be, just like my bones.
Well, that’s all I know about that Modesto mall food court and the other places to eat in Modesto. If you’re ever in town, you won’t go hungry, that’s for sure. There are all kinds of places to eat. Just don’t go wastin’ your money on them fancy places. Unless you like that sort of thing. Me, I’m happy with a hot dog and a donut. And maybe a nap.
