Okay, so I went to The Gardens Mall today, and let me tell you, their food court is something else. I’ve been to a lot of malls in my time, but this one really got my attention.
First off, I walked into the mall and had to find my way to the food court. It wasn’t too hard, just followed the signs and the smell of delicious food. I noticed that the place was packed. I mean, families, groups of friends, even some folks in suits grabbing a quick bite.
Once I got there, I was blown away by the variety. They have everything! I saw stalls with Malaysian food, like Nasi Lemak and Char Kway Teow, and then there was a whole section with Japanese stuff – sushi, ramen, you name it. I even spotted a place doing Korean fried chicken, and let me tell you, the line was long!

- I walked around for a good ten minutes just trying to decide what to get.
- I ended up getting a plate of mixed rice from this economy rice stall.
- You get to pick your own dishes, and they had like, fifty different things to choose from.
- I grabbed some sweet and sour pork, stir-fried veggies, and this spicy tofu dish that looked amazing.
The price was pretty reasonable, I think. I paid around 15 Ringgit for my meal, which is not bad for a mall food court. Found a seat near the window – great view, by the way, you can see the city skyline.
Cleanliness and service?
The place was pretty clean. I saw the cleaners going around, wiping tables and sweeping the floor pretty regularly. The people serving the food were also quite friendly. Even though they were super busy, they still managed to smile and were pretty quick with the orders.
Overall, I was pretty impressed with The Gardens Mall food court. It’s a great place to grab a bite if you’re shopping or just hanging out in the area. The variety is amazing, the prices are decent, and the place is clean and well-maintained. Definitely worth checking out if you’re ever in Mid Valley.
