Oh, now let me tell y’all about the Mall of Louisiana food court. This place got a little bit of everything if you’re lookin’ to fill up when you’re shoppin’. They got all sorts of foods, from pizza to burgers, and even some Asian stuff if you’re feelin’ fancy. Now, it ain’t some five-star restaurant, but for a food court, well, it does the job just fine, I reckon.

You go in, and first thing you’ll see is BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse. Folks really seem to like that one; it’s pretty popular with all them different choices. They got burgers, pizza, pasta, all that good stuff. You can just walk up there and order somethin’ real quick. The only thing is, since it’s popular, sometimes you might have to wait a bit. But hey, good food’s worth a wait, ain’t it?
Then right nearby, you’ll find Smashburger. Now, I’ll tell you, their burgers are pretty tasty! Some folks say they’re not as fancy as some other places, but if you’re just hungry for a quick burger, this’ll hit the spot. They make ‘em fresh, so you know it’s better than some of them fast-food spots, and you can sit right down and enjoy.
Oh, and don’t forget Red Robin Gourmet Burgers. Now they’ve got a little more to ‘em, ya know, with their big burgers and all sorts of toppings. It’s for folks who wanna try somethin’ a little different but still keep it simple. They serve these big ol’ plates, and if you’re lucky, you might even catch a spot without too much of a wait. A bit higher up in price maybe, but hey, sometimes you just gotta treat yourself, right?
For those of y’all who like somethin’ a little different, there’s Pei Wei Asian Express. Now, this place is for when you want somethin’ with noodles or rice. It’s got them Asian flavors that some folks love, and it’s right there in the food court too, so you don’t have to go far. They got dishes like noodles, chicken, and rice bowls, and they make it fresh so you know it’ll be hot and tasty when you pick it up.
There’s also a Street Food Munchies stall where folks can get things like seafood and pizza. It might seem a little strange at first, seafood in a mall and all, but for a quick bite, it’s pretty good. They serve some unique flavors and might even surprise ya with how fresh the food is for a food court.
Now, here’s what’s nice about the food court — it’s all about choices, and you can get in and out pretty quick. You’ve got your standard food court seating, and even though it gets crowded at times, there’s usually a spot for everyone to sit. And if you’re with kids or the whole family, it’s just easy to find somethin’ for everyone here without too much fuss.
So, all in all, the Mall of Louisiana food court is where you can get a decent meal while shoppin’. It ain’t no restaurant with servers or nothin’ fancy, but it’s good, honest food that fills you up. Just make sure to come with a little patience, ‘cause the lines get long sometimes. But once you sit down with your food, I’d say it’s worth it!
So next time you’re in Baton Rouge and swingin’ by the mall, take a minute to check out the food court. They got a little somethin’ for everybody, and it’s just a nice spot to grab a meal, rest your feet, and get ready for more shoppin’. Don’t go in expecting too much, just a good, simple bite to eat that’ll keep ya goin’.
