Well, let me tell ya about this here food court at Gardens Mall. I ain’t never seen so many places to eat all in one spot, y’know? It’s somethin’ else.
First off, there’s a bunch of different kinds of food. You got yer burgers and fries, that’s for sure. Kids always want that stuff. Then there’s, whatchamacallit, Asian food? Yeah, noodles and rice and all that. Smells kinda funny sometimes, but some folks like it. And pizza, oh my, there’s always pizza. Big slices, little slices, pepperoni, cheese… My grandkids, they love that pizza.
- Burgers and Fries: Always a good choice for the young’uns. Easy and quick, ya know?
- Asian Food: Noodles, rice, all that fancy stuff. Not my cup of tea, but some folks swear by it.
- Pizza: Can’t go wrong with pizza. Good for sharin’, too.
- Other Stuff: There’s other things too, like, uh, salads and sandwiches. Healthy stuff, I guess.
Now, findin’ a place to sit, that’s a whole ‘nother story. This place gets packed, especially durin’ lunchtime. You gotta circle around like a hawk, waitin’ for someone to get up. And then you gotta swoop in quick, or someone else will take yer spot. It’s a real jungle out there, I tell ya.

But once you get a seat, it ain’t so bad. The tables are clean, mostly, and the lights are bright. It’s kinda noisy though, with all the people talkin’ and the kids screamin’. But what can ya do? It’s a food court, not a church. And they got them big windows so you can see outside. Kinda nice if you like lookin’ at cars in the parkin’ lot.
The prices, well, they ain’t exactly cheap. But then again, nothin’s cheap these days, is it? You gotta pay a pretty penny for a burger and fries, I’ll tell ya that much. But I guess it’s worth it, if you’re hungry and you don’t wanna cook. And if you’re shoppin’ at the mall, you’re gonna get hungry sooner or later.
Gardens Mall food court, it’s convenient, that’s for sure. You don’t have to go drivin’ all over town lookin’ for somethin’ to eat. It’s all right there, under one roof. And they got somethin’ for everyone, even picky eaters like my grandson, little Timmy. He only eats chicken nuggets, and they got plenty of those.
One thing I don’t like, though, is them trays. They’re always wet and slippery, and I’m afraid I’m gonna drop my food. And then there’s the garbage cans. Sometimes they’re overflowin’ and it’s just a mess. They need to empty them more often, if you ask me. But nobody ever asks me.
And another thing, it can be hard to find what you’re looking for. There’s so many places, you don’t know where to start. They should have some kinda map or somethin’, showin’ you where everything is. I walked around for ten minutes the other day, just lookin’ for a darn soda. Ended up gettin’ water instead. Cheaper anyway.
So, all in all, I guess the food court in Gardens Mall ain’t bad. It ain’t fancy, but it gets the job done. It’s a good place to grab a quick bite, if you don’t mind the crowds and the noise. And if you got grandkids, well, they’ll probably love it. Kids love junk food, am I right?
But if you’re lookin’ for a nice, quiet meal, well, this ain’t the place for ya. You might wanna try one of them sit-down restaurants, the ones with the white tablecloths. But those are expensive, and who wants to pay all that money just to eat? Not me, that’s for sure.
So, there you have it. My two cents on the Gardens Mall food court. Take it or leave it, I don’t care. I’m just tellin’ it like it is. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go find little Timmy. He’s probably over there by the ice cream stand, makin’ a mess. Kids these days, they just don’t listen.
Food choices are important, I always say. And at Gardens Mall, you get a lot of ‘em. Just gotta watch your wallet and those slippery trays!
