Okay, so I’ve been meaning to check out the H Mart food court in Little Ferry, New Jersey. I heard they’ve got a bunch of different Korean food stalls, and I’m always down for some good Korean eats. So, the other day, I finally made the trek.
First thing I did was hop on Google to try and find a menu before going there, But after few minutes I give up, since I didn’t really see a simple, straight-up menu online. It was all, like, bits and pieces of information.
Getting There and First Impressions
I drove over there, and parking was a little bit nuts, but I managed to snag a spot. When I walked in, the place was buzzing! So many people, so many smells – it was awesome, but also a tiny bit overwhelming. I figured my best bet was to just walk around and see what each stall had to offer.

Scoping Out the Options
I did a lap around the whole food court, peeking at menus and trying to see what looked good. They had everything from classic Korean BBQ bowls to these crazy-looking Korean corn dogs. Here’s a rough breakdown of what I remember seeing:
- Korean BBQ: Lots of different meat options (bulgogi, spicy pork, chicken) served with rice and sides.
- Korean Fried Chicken: This place smelled AMAZING. They had all sorts of flavors, from soy garlic to super spicy.
- Noodle Soups: I saw ramen, udon, and some other Korean noodle soups that I couldn’t quite identify, but they looked delicious.
- Corn Dogs: Like I said, these were wild. Some had cheese, some had potatoes wrapped around them… it was a whole thing.
- Dumplings: Classic Korean dumplings, steamed or fried. Gotta love a good dumpling.
- Other Stuff: There was also a stall selling kimbap (Korean sushi rolls) and some other small bites.
Making My Decision (and Eating!)
After much deliberation (and a few drool-worthy moments), I decided to go for the spicy pork BBQ bowl. The woman at the counter was super friendly, and she piled on the meat, rice, and kimchi. It was SO GOOD. The pork was tender and flavorful, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the kimchi had just the right amount of kick.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I was really happy with my H Mart food court experience. It was a bit chaotic at first, but once I got my bearings, it was great. The food was delicious, and the prices were pretty reasonable. Next time, I’m definitely trying the Korean fried chicken – that smell was just too good to resist!
