Okay, so today I decided to hit up the H Mart in Torrance, specifically the food court. I’ve heard good things, and honestly, I was craving some good Korean food.
First, I drove over there. Parking was a bit of a mess, it’s a Saturday, so, you know, expected. I circled around for a good 10 minutes before finally snagging a spot. Walked inside, and the first thing that hits you is the smell – a delicious mix of all sorts of Asian goodies.
Food Court Time
The food court itself is pretty big. Lots of different stalls, all with pictures of their dishes. I wandered around for a bit, trying to decide what to get. So many choices! There was Korean fried chicken, bibimbap, noodles, even some Japanese and Chinese options.

Finally, I settled on a place that had a really tempting-looking spicy pork bulgogi. I ordered the combo, which came with rice, kimchi, and some other little side dishes. Paid for it – it was pretty reasonable, I think around $15.
- Spicy Pork Bulgogi Combo
- Rice
- Kimchi
- Other side dishes(pickled radish and some kind of spinach.)
Found a table – it was busy, but I managed to squeeze in. Then I dug in. And oh man, it was good! The pork was super flavorful, spicy but not too crazy. The kimchi was nice and crunchy, and the rice was perfectly cooked. I devoured the whole thing. Seriously, I cleaned the plate.
After I finished eating, I walked around the grocery store a bit, just to check things out. Picked up some Korean snacks and a couple of drinks to take home.
All and all, I think today’s adventure is successful!
