Okay, so yesterday, I hit up the North Star Mall in San Antonio. I was doing some shopping, and you know how it is, after a few hours, your stomach starts talking. I headed over to the food court ’cause, honestly, who can resist all those smells?
This place is just a couple of miles from the airport, and about 10 miles away from downtown. Super easy to get to.
When I got there, it was pretty packed, as usual. I took a lap around to see what my options were. They’ve got a little bit of everything, you know?

- There’s this place, The Cheesecake Factory, that’s always tempting with their huge menu.
- I saw a Mexican spot called Tlahco Mexican kitchen that looked pretty authentic.
- Then there was Ida Claire, which I think is more of a sit-down place.
- And a diner called Max and Louie’s New York Diner, which gave me those classic American vibes.
- Oh, and Flying Tiger Thai Restaurant. I almost went for that, but I wasn’t in the mood for Thai yesterday.
I ended up going to this place called Pho Thien An. It smelled so good, and I was craving something warm and comforting. I ordered a big bowl of pho, and man, it hit the spot. The broth was rich, the noodles were perfect, and the meat was super tender.
After I finished my pho, I grabbed a coffee from North Star Cafe just to keep me going for the rest of my shopping. It was a decent cup of joe, nothing too fancy, but it did the trick.
So yeah, that was my food adventure at the North Star Mall food court. If you’re ever in the area and need a quick bite, it’s definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared for a bit of a crowd, especially during peak hours. And don’t blame me if you end up spending hours there – so many choices!
