Well, let me tell ya about this Regency Mall food court. It ain’t fancy, mind you, but it’s got grub. You get hungry walkin’ around all them stores, you do. Gotta fill yer belly, that’s what I say.
First off, they got them places where you can get a quick bite. You know, like them pretzel places. My grandbaby, she loves them pretzels. All that salt, I don’t know how she eats it. Then there’s them pizza joints. Sbarro’s, they call it. Big slices, kinda greasy, but the kids gobble it up. Can’t complain too much, fills ‘em up good.
- Pretzels: Salty and the kids love ’em.
- Pizza: Greasy but filling, good for the young’uns.
And then you got them Asian food places. Sakura, I think one’s called. They got them noodles and rice and all that. My son, he likes that stuff. Me? I ain’t so sure. Looks kinda…foreign. But he says it’s good, so maybe it is. They also got this new place, somethin’ called Dragon Treats. My daughter-in-law told me about their bubble tea and rolled ice cream, kinda fancy for a mall, ain’t it? I just like a good cuppa coffee myself.

Now, if you want somethin’ a little more…American, they got them burger places too. AD Buffalo’s, that’s one. Burgers and fries, you know the drill. Can’t go wrong with a burger, I always say. Though sometimes they’re too big, you gotta cut ‘em in half. And the fries, gotta have ‘em crispy. Nobody likes soggy fries, that’s for sure.
Then there’s this Cajun place, Cajun Big Easy, I think it was called. Spicy food, they say. I ain’t never tried it myself. Too old for all that spice, gives me heartburn somethin’ awful. But some folks like it, I guess. To each their own, that’s what I say. You wanna eat somethin’ spicy, go right ahead. Just don’t expect me to join ya.
And of course, you gotta have a Subway. Them sandwiches, they’re alright. You can pick and choose what you want on ‘em, which is nice. I always get the turkey, plain and simple. No fancy stuff for me. And gotta have that wheat bread, gotta watch my figure, you know? Even at my age, you gotta try.
This Regency Mall food court, it’s got a little bit of everything, I guess. From them fancy Asian foods to them good ol’ American burgers. And the prices, well, they ain’t too bad. You can feed a family without breakin’ the bank, that’s for sure. It ain’t no five-star restaurant, mind you, but it’ll do in a pinch. You get hungry, you go there, you eat somethin’, you go home. That’s all there is to it.
I remember when this mall first opened. It was a big deal, let me tell ya. Everybody came down to see it. And the food court, well, it was the place to be. Kids runnin’ around, folks laughin’, everybody havin’ a good time. It’s changed some over the years, but it’s still a good place to go. Get yerself a bite to eat, watch the people go by. It’s open from 10am to 7pm every day, which is mighty convenient for folks who got errands to run.
So, if you ever find yerself at the Regency Mall, don’t forget to check out the food court. You might find somethin’ you like. And even if you don’t, well, at least you can say you tried it. It aims to give the community a good shopping experience, so they say. And a full belly helps with shoppin’, that’s a fact. They got stores and food, that’s about all you need really.
The Regency Shopping Mall. I’ve seen it all over the years, this mall has been there. Now they have reviews on the internet, can you believe it? Folks puttin’ their thoughts on that thing for everyone to see. It’s a different world now, that’s for sure.
