So, the other day, I was craving some Indian food, and I’d heard about this place called Triveni Food Court in South Riding. I figured, why not give it a shot? I looked it up on my phone, got the address, and hopped in my car.
The drive wasn’t too bad, took me about 20 minutes. When I got there, I saw it was in a little shopping center, pretty easy to find. I parked the car and walked in.
First thing I noticed was the smell. You know, that awesome mix of spices and food that just hits you when you walk into a good Indian restaurant? It was definitely there. The place was pretty small, not too many tables, but it was clean and looked well-maintained.
I went up to the counter and checked out the menu. They had all the usual stuff, like butter chicken, tikka masala, biryani, and a bunch of different naans. They also had some South Indian dishes, like dosas and idlis, which was cool.
What I Ordered
- Butter Chicken: It’s my go-to when I try a new Indian place.
- Garlic Naan: Because who doesn’t love garlic naan, right?
- Mango Lassi: I needed something to wash it all down.
I placed my order and found a table. The food didn’t take too long, maybe 15 minutes or so. The butter chicken was really good. It was creamy, a little sweet, and had just the right amount of spice. The chicken was tender, and the sauce was perfect for dipping the naan in.
The garlic naan was great, too. It was soft and fluffy, with a good amount of garlic flavor. And the mango lassi? Super refreshing and not too sweet. It was a great way to balance out the spices from the butter chicken.
Overall, I was pretty happy with my meal at Triveni Food Court. The food was tasty, the service was quick, and the prices were reasonable. I’d definitely go back there again. If you’re in South Riding and you’re in the mood for some Indian food, I’d say give this place a try. You might just like it!
After finishing my meal, I paid the bill at the counter. I thought it was a pretty good deal for the amount and quality of the food I got. On the way out I thanked the staff. They were all pretty friendly and appreciative.
So, that’s my little adventure to Triveni Food Court. It was a nice, simple meal out, and I enjoyed it. It’s not often that I get to enjoy a weekday lunch like this by myself. Nothing too crazy, but sometimes, those are the best kinds of meals.
