Okay, so yesterday, I decided to finally check out that Memorial Food Court everyone’s been talking about. I’d heard so much about the variety and how it’s a real hidden gem, so my expectations were pretty high.
First things first, I had to find the place. It’s tucked away a bit, not super obvious from the main road. I drove around for a good 10 minutes before I spotted the sign. Parking was a bit of a nightmare, it’s a pretty popular spot, especially during lunch hour. I ended up circling the block twice before finally snagging a spot a couple of streets over.
Once I got inside, wow! The place was buzzing. So many different food stalls, it was almost overwhelming. I did a quick lap to get the lay of the land. There was everything from Korean fried chicken to Vietnamese pho, classic American burgers, and even some pretty authentic-looking Mexican tacos. My stomach was already rumbling.

The Food Journey Begins
I decided to start with something small, so I grabbed a couple of pork and chive dumplings from a little Chinese stall. Man, those were good! Perfectly steamed, juicy filling, and just the right amount of savory flavor. I could have easily eaten a dozen.
- First Stop: Chinese Dumplings – 10/10 would recommend.
Next, I was craving something spicy. I spotted a stall with a long line and a sign that said “Best Pad Thai in Town.” Figured I’d give it a shot. The wait was about 15 minutes, but it was worth it. The Pad Thai was loaded with shrimp and tofu, and it had a real kick to it. Not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely solid.
- Second Stop: Pad Thai – 7/10, good spice, but a little too sweet for my taste.
After that, I needed something to cool down my mouth. I saw a stall selling fresh fruit smoothies and decided on a mango lassi. It was thick, creamy, and the perfect antidote to the spicy noodles. Plus, it felt somewhat healthy after all the fried food.
- Third Stop Mango Lassi-8/10, refreshing!
Finally, even though I was pretty full, I couldn’t resist trying one of the mini cheesecakes from a dessert stall. I went for the classic New York style. It was rich, decadent, and the perfect little sweet treat to end my food court adventure.
- Fourth Stop: Mini Cheesecake – 9/10, creamy and delicious.
The Verdict
Overall, the Memorial Food Court lived up to the hype. The variety is incredible, and the prices are pretty reasonable. It’s definitely a place where you can go with a group of friends and everyone can find something they like. Just be prepared for a bit of a parking hassle and some potential lines at the more popular stalls. I’ll definitely be going back to try some of the other places I missed!
