Well, I tell ya, that Imperial Valley Mall, it’s got a food court, they call it. Lots of folks go there to eat.
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it the other day. They said there are some places to get a bite. One place got burgers, big ones. They call it, um, The Burger and I. Sounds fancy, huh? Ain’t never been there myself, but sounds like the place for a good burger. And then there’s that Dogwood Sports Bar thing. Sounds like a place for them young folks who like their sports and whatnot.
And there is a food court place, you know. They got one of them spinny things with horses, carousel, I think they call it. Kids sure like that thing. And lots of food places all around. That Imperial Valley Mall food court is somethin’, I guess.
Then there’s some other places I heard about. There’s somethin’ called Black White Coffee Company. Sounds like they got coffee, maybe. And that Johnny Carino’s, they say it’s Italian. Italian food, what do I know about Italian food? Then there’s Mami’s Flavor, sounds Mexican. Heard they got good food there, if you like that spicy stuff.

There’s a place with BBQ, too. Famous Dave’s, they call it. BBQ is always good. I like a good BBQ. Smells good, tastes good. Can’t go wrong with BBQ.
They got all kinds of places in that mall. Some places for clothes, some for shoes. I don’t need none of that. But them young folks, they like that stuff. Forever 21, they got that there. That place is popular, always people going in and out, I seen it.
Someone was tellin’ me ’bout a place called BoxLunch. Sounds odd, don’t it? BoxLunch. They say it’s got gifts and stuff. And they say it’s for a cause, whatever that means. They say for every 10 dollars you spend, they do somethin’ good. I don’t know what, but it sounds nice, I guess. It’s next to a place called Hollister. Never been there either, but I heard people talk about it. It’s a store, I think.
And they got them little places all around, sellin’ food too. One’s called Auntie Ann’s. And another one, Cinnabon’s. I don’t know what they sell, but people seem to like it. Probably somethin’ sweet. Sweet things are always popular, ain’t they?
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout other places near that Imperial Valley Mall. There’s that Thai Bistro. Thai food, they say. Don’t know what that is. Then there’s somethin’ called Sonora Fusion. Fusion, what’s that? Sounds like they mix things up. And Inferno El Centro, Volcano, Antojito Como En Casa. Sounds like a lot of places to get food, that’s for sure.
That mall, it’s a big place. Lots of stores, lots of food. They got that big store, Macy’s, and another one, Dillards. Big stores, I tell ya. Never seen so many things in one place.
They say that Imperial Valley Mall is the newest place to shop in that part of California. The southernmost part, they say. Sounds far away to me. They got over a hundred places to eat and shop, they say. A hundred! Can you believe that? That’s a lot of places. I bet you can find anything you are looking for there. And there are many choices about food. For example, there are a lot of Imperial Valley Mall restaurants.
There is a place between Macy’s and the food court. They got some kind of fancy thing there, they call it “Interactive projection”. It looks wonderful. Don’t know what that is, but the young folks seem to like it. They say the food court ain’t got many choices. Maybe they need more places to eat there. But I guess there’s enough to keep folks happy.
That address is 3451 S Dogwood Rd, El Centro. I don’t know where that is, I ain’t good with directions.
If you’re lookin’ for a place to eat, that Imperial Valley Mall, it’s got a lot of choices. Burgers, BBQ, Italian, Mexican, you name it. And if you like them spinny horses, they got that too. It’s a big place, that mall. Lots to see, lots to eat. Just don’t get lost in there! It’s easy to do, I bet.
