Okay, here’s my experience sharing about renting an indoor soccer field.
So, I wanted to get a soccer game going with my buddies. We usually play outdoors, but the weather was looking iffy, so I thought, “Why not try an indoor field?” I started calling around to different places, you know, just to see what was out there.
First thing, I checked out some websites to get an idea of the prices. Some places were pretty expensive, like, $180 an hour! I was like, “Man, that’s a lot of dough for a game.” But then I saw that some places had member discounts, so that got me thinking. Maybe I could become a member, you know, to save a few bucks. I made a note to ask about that later.

I called a few of these indoor soccer spots, just chatting with whoever answered the phone. I asked about the field sizes, what kind of turf they had, whether they provided goals and all that stuff. I also made sure to ask about their availability. I mean, what’s the point if they’re all booked up, right?
- One place, I think it was called “Soccer Miami” or something, they were really hyping up their amenities. Said it was more than just a place to play, it was like, a whole experience. I don’t know, maybe I’ll check them out sometime.
- Then there was this other place, “Socceroof.” Their website was pretty slick. They were all about making it easy to book a field. Sounded good to me, ’cause who wants to deal with a complicated booking process?
After talking to a bunch of places, I finally found one that seemed like a good fit. It wasn’t too pricey, the field was a decent size, and they had goals. Plus, they were available on the day we wanted to play. Score! I booked the field for a couple of hours, just to be safe. We could always stay longer if we were having fun.
On the day of the game, we all showed up, ready to play. The field was pretty nice, actually. The turf was good, the goals were set up, and it was great not having to worry about the weather. We played for a solid two hours, maybe even a little more. Everyone had a blast.
My Final Thoughts
All in all, renting an indoor soccer field was a pretty good experience. It was definitely more convenient than playing outside, especially when the weather’s bad. And it wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be, especially if you find a place with member discounts. If you’re thinking about getting a game going, I’d say go for it! Just do a little research, call around, and find a place that works for you and your crew.
