Yesterday, I saw someone wearing sunglasses indoors, and it got me thinking. So, I decided to give it a try myself. I grabbed my favorite pair of shades and started wearing them the moment I woke up.
At first, it felt a bit weird. Everything looked darker, obviously. But after a while, I started to notice some interesting things. The glare from my computer screen seemed less intense. I usually get headaches from staring at the screen all day, but with the sunglasses on, my eyes felt more relaxed.
Experimenting with Different Scenarios
- Working on the computer: This was where I noticed the biggest difference. The reduced glare made it much easier to focus, and I didn’t feel the usual eye strain.
- Watching TV: Similar to the computer, the sunglasses helped reduce the brightness and made watching TV a more comfortable experience.
- Walking around the house: To be honest, this felt a bit silly. But I wanted to see if there were any other benefits. I did notice that the bright overhead lights didn’t bother me as much.
I even tried wearing them while cooking. It helped a little bit with the bright lights above the stove, but it also made it harder to see what I was doing. Probably not the best idea to wear sunglasses while chopping vegetables, so be careful.

By the end of the day, my eyes felt surprisingly good. I didn’t have any headaches, and they didn’t feel as tired as they usually do. I also got a few compliments on my “look” and I think the glasses made me look cool and mysterious. Maybe there’s something to this whole “indoor sunglasses” thing after all! It is said that they can protect your eyes by reducing glare and blocking harmful blue light, and help exude a certain amount of intimidation and express power by hiding emotional vulnerabilities, and also can be a means for people to express their personal style and enhance their overall appearance, but I didn’t think too much about that and just want to try new things. Of course, they cannot cause damage in and of themselves, so just try it!
I’m not sure if I’ll wear sunglasses indoors every day, but it’s definitely something I’ll consider when my eyes are feeling particularly sensitive or when I want to add a touch of mystery to my look. It’s worth trying, maybe it will work for you, too!
