So, I’ve been spending a lot of time in Star Trek Fleet Command lately. It’s a huge universe, and there’s always something to do. I started focusing on these missions, especially the “Knowledge Is Its Own Reward” one. I wanted to see what kind of rewards I could get and how far I could push my base.
I started by looking around for any information I could find about this mission online. I found a few posts about the main storyline missions, and one even mentioned the “Knowledge Is Its Own Reward” mission. It seemed like it was part of the main story, so I figured it was important.
My Progress
-
Leveling Up: First, I really focused on leveling up my base. I read somewhere that getting to Ops 39 was a big deal for getting better rewards, so I made that my main goal. It took some time, but I got there.
-
Events: I also started paying more attention to the events. Apparently, the rewards get way better once you hit Ops 39. There were a couple of events, like “Si Vis Pacem” and “Jelly Fish Brawl”, that I hadn’t even heard of before, but they seemed pretty cool.
-
Dark Space Missions: I learned that completing Dark Space Missions would unlock something called Dark Space. I dove into those, hoping it would lead to something interesting. It was tough, but I managed to get through them.
-
Leaderboards: The leaderboards are still in my immediate level bracket, which is 28-30. I’m not sure if I’ll ever be at the top, but I’m giving it my best shot.
Honestly, I’m still not sure what all the rewards are for this mission. I wish there was a way to see a list of completed missions in my own history, instead of just a count. That would be super helpful. I guess I’ll keep playing and see what happens. It’s a bit of a grind, but hey, it’s been fun. Who knew a mobile game could be so involving?
I also heard that when a new server launches, all buildings, including Operations, can only go up to level 39. It’s like everyone starts on the same level. Once the server matures, things change. I wonder when that will happen for my server.
So yeah, that’s where I’m at with this “Knowledge Is Its Own Reward” mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. It’s been a journey, and I’m still pushing forward. I guess the real reward is the journey itself, right? And the friends you make along the way. Or something like that.
