Okay, folks, let me tell you about my little adventure trying to find some decent grub at the Las Vegas airport. It was a whole thing, let me tell you!
My Food Court Quest at the Las Vegas Airport
So, picture this: I’m stuck at the Las Vegas airport. My flight’s delayed, my stomach’s rumbling, and I’ve got that “I need real food, not just a sad little bag of pretzels” feeling. I started wandering around, looking for the food court. I figured, “Vegas, baby! There’s gotta be something good here!”
I asked a couple of airport employees, finally I find direction for the food court. Turns out, it’s a bit of a maze to get there. Up some escalators, down a hallway, past a bunch of slot machines (because, Vegas). It’s like they’re trying to distract you with the shiny things before you can even eat!

I finally spotted the promised land – the food court! It was a decent size, with a bunch of the usual suspects. The question get more difficult. Which restaurant I should choose.
- Fast food chains.
- Some sandwich places.
- One or two that looked a bit more “upscale” (for an airport, anyway).
And Some coffee shop for sure.
I walked around, checking out the menus, trying to decide. I was tempted by the pizza, but then I saw the line. Nope. Not waiting 20 minutes for a slice. I almost settled for a burger, but then I remembered I’d promised myself I’d try to eat something slightly healthier on this trip.
I finally ended up at this little place that did made-to-order salads and wraps. It wasn’t anything fancy, but it looked fresh, and the line was manageable. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap and a bottle of water. It hit the spot! It wasn’t the best wrap I’ve ever had, but it was definitely better than airplane food.
The wrap was fresh, which satisfy me, and the price really high as I expect, but hey, It’s airport, I already prepare for it.
So, that’s my Las Vegas airport food court story. It wasn’t a culinary masterpiece, but it was a solid meal, and it kept me going until my flight finally took off. My advice? Give yourself plenty of time to find the food court, and don’t be afraid to explore your options. You might be surprised at what you find!
