I gotta tell you about this place I checked out the other day – the LBC Food Court. It’s not your average food court, let me tell you. I’d heard some buzz about it, figured I’d see what all the fuss was about.
So, I headed over there last Saturday, right around lunchtime. The place was bustling, which is always a good sign. I took a quick lap around to scope out the options. Man, the variety was insane! They had everything from tacos to ramen, burgers to sushi, and even some fancy-looking desserts.
After much deliberation, I settled on a couple of spots. First, I hit up this place called “Spice Kingdom.” Sounded right up my alley, I love me some heat. I ordered their signature spicy chicken dish with some jasmine rice. The aroma alone was making my mouth water, I had to stop myself from drooling while I waited.
- Spice Kingdom: The spicy chicken was out of this world. The perfect amount of heat, super flavorful, and the chicken was juicy and tender. Rice was cooked perfectly, not mushy at all.
Next, I grabbed a small portion of the mixed seafood spaghetti from this stall “Seafood Sensation.” I figured I needed to sample some seafood since they had “seafood” in the name.
- Seafood Sensation: The spaghetti was cooked al dente, and the sauce was creamy and rich, with a good amount of garlic. The seafood was fresh and tasty, and there were some big chunks of it too, not those tiny shrimps you get at other restaurants.
Finally, I couldn’t resist trying something sweet, so I made my way to “Sugar Rush.” Their display of cakes and pastries was a sight to behold.
- Sugar Rush: I ended up getting a slice of their chocolate lava cake. It was warm, gooey, and decadent. The perfect ending to a great meal.
Overall Experience
I left the LBC Food Court with a full belly and a smile on my face. I highly recommend checking it out if you’re ever in the area. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was lively. A solid 9 out of 10 for me, no doubt. Will definitely go again to try the other stalls.
