You know, I heard about this place called Maui Marketplace. They got a food court there, they call it Kau Kau Market. Sounds fancy, huh? But it’s just a place to grab a bite, nothing too special.

So, this Kau Kau Market, it’s inside that Maui Marketplace. It ain’t big, just a few little food stalls all crammed together. Four of ’em, I think. They got some chairs and tables, enough for the folks that come through. Not too crowded, not too empty. Just enough for when you need to sit your behind down and eat.
They say it’s in the west corner, whatever that means. Just look around, you’ll find it. It’s where the food is, that’s all you need to know. This place is good for your wallet, you know. Food is cheap. Not like them fancy restaurants or them food trucks that cost an arm and a leg. You go to Kau Kau Market, you get full, and you still got some money left in your pocket. That’s a good deal, if you ask me.

When you’re in Maui and your stomach starts rumbling, you can go to them fancy places. Or them food trucks everyone’s talking about. But they’ll cost ya. If you wanna eat good and not spend all your money, you go to that Kau Kau Market. Good food, cheap prices. Can’t beat that.
I heard there’s other places too. This Whalers Village, Queen Ka’ahumanu Center, The Shops At Wailea, Piilani Village Shopping Center. They all got food, I guess. But folks seem to like this Kau Kau Market. Must be doing something right. They got good grinds. Fill you right up.
This Maui Marketplace food court, it’s a good place to go when you’re hungry. You can get plenty kine grindz for a good price. Yeah, plenty kind. Some folks like one kind, some folks like another. There’s something for everyone, you know. Rice, noodles, meat, whatever you like, they got. Don’t cost you plenty of money neither, especially for what you get in Maui. Good deal, I tell ya.
They got all kinds of food there. You like noodles? They got noodles. You like rice? They got rice. Meat? Sure, they got meat. Fish, chicken, pork, you name it. Just pick what you like, pay the nice lady, and find a place to sit down.
It ain’t fancy, this Kau Kau Market. Just good, honest food. Like what your grandma used to make. If your grandma was from here, I guess. But you know what I mean. It’s simple, it’s filling, and it’s good.

Some people say this is the best food court in Maui. I don’t know about all that. I ain’t been to all of ’em. But I know this place is good. Good food, good prices. What else you need?

Just a little place, with some good food, for a good price. You won’t regret it. My friend told me about this place. She went there last year, said it was the best meal she had in Maui. And she didn’t have to sell her car to pay for it!
