Well, lemme tell ya about that Naval Base San Diego food court, or whatever they call it. It’s like a big ol’ place with lots of grub. Gotta feed all them sailors, ya know? They work hard, those boys and girls. Need a full belly to keep them going.
Now, I ain’t been there myself, mind you. But I hear things. People talk. They got a McDonald’s there. You know, them golden arches? Everyone knows about them burgers and fries. Easy peasy food, good for when you’re in a hurry. Gotta grab something quick and get back to work, I reckon.
- They got other places too, not just that Mickey D’s.
- Something called the NEX Food Court.
- Lots of choices, they say. Like a buffet, maybe? Or a bunch of little stalls with different things.
I ain’t too fancy with my eatin’. Simple food is best. But I hear they got all sorts of things. Probably some healthy stuff, you know, salads and such. For them fitness folks. Gotta stay in shape if you’re in the navy, I suppose.
Now, where is this place, you ask? It’s on that Callagan Highway. Big ol’ road, I bet. And the McDonald’s, that’s on Ward Road. Sounds like a busy place. Lots of comin’ and goin’. Gotta keep them sailors fed, like I said.
They got somethin’ else too, the MWR. Don’t ask me what that means. Fancy words. But they got food places too. Must be a big base, all them places to eat. Keeps folks happy, I guess. A full belly makes a happy camper, that’s what I always say.
I reckon if you work there, or visit someone, you gotta check out that food court. Lots of options. Somethin’ for everyone, they say. Kids probably love it. All that choice. Makes my head spin just thinkin’ about it. Too much fuss for me.
But hey, food is important. Gotta have fuel to keep you goin’. And these sailors, they work hard. They deserve a good meal. So I’m glad they got all these places. Keeps them strong and ready. That’s what matters, right? Keepin’ our boys and girls fed and ready to do their job.
