Well, now, lemme tell ya, this whole NCSA thing – I just don’t get it, folks. People are throwin’ their hard-earned money down the drain, hopin’ it’ll do somethin’ good for their kids. But lemme tell ya, from what I’ve seen, it’s all a bunch of hogwash. They say it’s for helpin’ athletes get noticed by college coaches, but I’m here to tell ya, it ain’t worth a penny. I’d rather use that money for somethin’ that actually works, like a new pair of boots or a good ol’ home-cooked meal. NCSA is just one big waste of money.
What is NCSA anyway?
Now, for them folks who ain’t familiar, NCSA stands for National College Scouting Association. It’s supposed to be some kind of service that helps young athletes get in touch with college coaches. But here’s the thing: most college coaches, they don’t even bother lookin’ at these emails from NCSA. I’ve heard time and time again from coaches, they just throw them straight in the trash. They ain’t got time for that nonsense. They want results, not fancy emails from some middleman.

Why NCSA Ain’t Worth It
Now, y’all might be wonderin’, why do I say NCSA is a waste? Well, first off, if you’re an athlete who’s got the skill, you ain’t gonna need NCSA to get noticed. Take track and field, for example. If you’re runnin’ fast times, trust me, the coaches will find you. You don’t need to pay some service to do the work for ya. Coaches these days, they know where to look – and it ain’t in NCSA’s database.
Another thing, you could just as easily fill out the online forms yourself. Ain’t no reason to pay somebody to do it for ya. All this NCSA does is send out emails to coaches, but they don’t even read ’em! So why throw away money for somethin’ that don’t work?
Do Your Own Research
If you’re serious about gettin’ noticed by colleges, there’s plenty of ways to do it without spendin’ a fortune. Take track and field, for example, you can go to websites like , where you can find out where you stand compared to other athletes. Ain’t no need to pay NCSA to do that for ya.
And don’t forget, coaches these days spend a lot of time on the internet. You don’t need to wait for NCSA to connect you. If you’re good, you’ll get noticed – simple as that. Go ahead and send emails to coaches yourself, show ‘em what you got. A good video of your performance will go a long way.
Refunds? Ain’t Gonna Happen
Now, I’ve heard some folks say they want a refund from NCSA after they realized it’s a scam. Well, let me tell ya, they don’t make it easy. Unless you’ve got a serious medical reason or some big family emergency, they ain’t gonna give you your money back. And even if you do have a good reason, you gotta jump through a bunch of hoops just to ask for it. Sounds like a whole lotta hassle to me.
Better Ways to Get Noticed
So what’s the best way to get noticed? Well, like I said before, do your own homework. Get out there, make connections with coaches, send your videos, and make sure they know you’re serious. But don’t waste your money on NCSA. If you’re runnin’ fast or jumpin’ high, the coaches will find ya, trust me.
In this day and age, with the internet and all, you don’t need to go through a middleman to get noticed. Just get out there, do the work, and you’ll be just fine without spendin’ a dime on NCSA. It’s a waste of money, and you can do better without it.
