Alright, let’s talk about that grub place at Northgate Mall, yeah, the food court. You know, the one with all them eats and smells.
Food Court Grub: What’s Good?
I ain’t no fancy food critic, mind you. I just know what tastes good and what fills your belly without emptyin’ your wallet. That Northgate Mall food court, it’s got a whole bunch of stuff. Some good, some…well, not so good. Let me tell ya what I seen.

First off, they got all kinds of food there. You want Chinese? They got it. You want somethin’ like that greasy pizza stuff? They got that too. Heck, they even got that fancy Italian stuff, where they let you draw on the tables! My grandkids, they’d love that. Romano’s Macaroni Grill, that’s the name, I think. Sounds all highfalutin, but the food’s alright, I guess.
- Pizza and greasy stuff: Lots of places for that. Kids love it, but it ain’t always the best for your stomach, you know?
- Chinese food: They got a few of them places. Some are good, some are just…meh. You gotta be careful, or you’ll end up with somethin’ that tastes like old shoes.
- Fancy food: Like that Italian place. And some other places with names I can’t even say. Good for a special occasion, maybe, but not for everyday eatin’.
- Other stuff: They got burgers, chicken, all sorts of things. You just gotta walk around and see what tickles your fancy.
Now, some folks, they like to go on that “Yelp” thing to find good eats. I ain’t got no time for that internet stuff. I just use my eyes and my nose. If a place looks clean and smells good, that’s a good sign. They say there’s places like Stanford’s and Gyro Sababa and Tian Fu around there that are good. Never been, myself. Too busy lookin’ after the chickens.
Northgate Mall Food: More Than Just the Food Court
But listen, that food court ain’t the only place to get grub at Northgate Mall. They got other restaurants too, scattered around the place. Like that Applebee’s and Chick-fil-A and Red Lobster. You know, the usual suspects.
I went to that Old Chicago Pizza Taproom once. Pizza was okay, nothin’ to write home about. But they had a whole bunch of them beers on tap. Too many, if you ask me. Confused the heck outta me. Just give me a regular ol’ beer, that’s all I need.
And that Salsarita’s, that’s a Mexican place. Tacos and such. Pretty good if you ask me. But be careful with them hot sauces, some of ‘em will burn your mouth right off!
They say them good restaurants at Northgate, they ain’t just about the food. They try to make it all fancy, you know? Nice tables, nice chairs, people fussin’ over you. Me? I just want a good meal, I don’t need all that fuss. But some folks like it, I guess.
Finding Good Eats at Northgate
So, how do you find good grub at Northgate Mall? Well, you gotta use your common sense. Look around, see what looks busy. If a place is packed, that usually means the food’s pretty good. And don’t be afraid to ask people! If you see someone with a plate of food that looks tasty, ask ‘em where they got it.
And don’t forget to check the prices! Some of them places, they charge an arm and a leg for a little bit of food. I ain’t payin’ no fancy prices for somethin’ I can make better at home. But sometimes, it’s nice to treat yourself, you know? Just don’t go breakin’ the bank.
Anyways, that’s all I gotta say about the food at Northgate Mall. It ain’t the best food in the world, but it ain’t the worst either. You can find somethin’ to fill your belly, that’s for sure. Just gotta look around a bit.
One more thing, if you go on a Sunday, make sure it ain’t Easter. A lot of those places are closed. I found that out the hard way once. Had to go home and eat leftovers. Not a happy day, let me tell ya. So plan ahead, folks. That’s the key. And don’t forget to bring your appetite!
