Okay, so I went to this new food court in Pineville the other day. It’s over by the G-Mart, you know, at 10500 Centrum Pkwy. Honestly, it took them forever to get this place open. I swear I saw the “coming soon” sign up for like a year! But hey, it’s finally here.
So, picture this: you walk into G-Mart, and you gotta hang a left. All the way to the end. That’s where the food court is hiding. They’ve got a bunch of different stalls, so there’s a little something for everyone. I saw some familiar faces, like Chick-fil-A and Chipotle, but also some new stuff I hadn’t tried before.
I ended up grabbing some grub from the Chinese dumpling place. There was a huge line! I guess everyone else had the same idea. The food was… okay. Honestly, I thought it was kinda expensive for what it was, but hey, that’s food courts for you, right?
- Chick-fil-A: You know what you’re getting here. Chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. Always a solid choice.
- Chipotle Mexican Grill: Burritos, bowls, the usual. It’s Chipotle, nothing new.
- Bonchon: I think this is Korean fried chicken? I didn’t try it, but it smelled pretty good.
- Wingz Carolina Place: Wings, obviously. Didn’t get a chance to check out their flavors, though.
- Charleys Cheesesteaks: Cheesesteaks! Can’t go wrong with a classic.
There were some other places too, but I didn’t catch all the names. There was a flea market, Miller’s Flea Market. I saw another place called “Alley 51” on the map, but I didn’t go there. I also found a German restaurant nearby, I guess, called Waldhorn Restaurant at 12101 Lancaster Hwy. Didn’t check it out, though.
Anyway, if you’re in Pineville and you’re looking for a quick bite, this food court is a decent option. Just be prepared to maybe wait in line and pay a little more than you’d expect. It’s not exactly the cheapest place to eat, but it’s convenient if you’re already at G-Mart.
Tips for navigating the food court:
- Go early: If you wanna beat the lunch rush, try to get there before noon.
- Scope out the options: Take a lap around before you decide what to eat. There’s a lot to choose from!
- Bring cash: Just in case some of the stalls don’t take cards. You never know.
So yeah, that’s my review of the new food court at G-Mart in Pineville. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but it gets the job done. Give it a try if you’re in the area. You might find something you like!
