So, the other day, I was at the Santa Rosa Plaza, just doing my usual weekend window shopping thing. You know how it is, you walk around, check out some stores, maybe grab a new shirt or something. But this time, I got hungry, and I figured, why not check out the food court? I mean, I’ve been to this mall a bunch of times, but I’ve never really given the food court a good try.
I started by just walking around the food court to see what they had. There are the usual suspects, like those fast-food chains, but I was looking for something a bit more, you know, interesting. I did notice that the place is anchored by a Macy’s and a Forever 21, which is kind of cool. Makes the mall feel a bit more upscale, I guess. Also, I learned that it features over 120 specialty stores and restaurants.
Anyway, I’m walking around, and I see a Charley’s Philly Steaks. Now, I’ve had those before, and they’re pretty good, but I wasn’t really in the mood for a cheesesteak. I kept looking, and I saw this place called aerie, which I think is some kind of clothing store. Not really what I was looking for, but it’s there if you need it. There was also a Kay Jewelers around, but who buys jewelry on an empty stomach, right? I walked to the other end and saw the Apple Store near the food court.
Honestly, I was a bit overwhelmed by all the choices. But then, I spotted a few places that looked promising. And you know what they say, when in doubt, go with the crowd. There was this one spot that had a pretty long line, so I figured it must be good. I waited in line for a bit, and when I finally got to the front, I saw that they had all sorts of different foods. I ended up getting something that looked kind of like a mix of pizza and a sandwich, it’s an Italian restaurant. It was pretty good!
After I ate, I felt pretty satisfied. I mean, the food wasn’t exactly gourmet or anything, but it hit the spot. And the best part is, it didn’t break the bank. So, all in all, I’d say the Santa Rosa Plaza food court is a pretty solid choice if you’re at the mall and you get hungry. It’s not the fanciest place in the world, but it gets the job done, right?
