Today, I was craving some Italian, so I decided to check out the Sorrento Food Court. I’d heard good things about it, but never actually made it over there.
First, I drove to the place. It wasn’t too hard to find, just a quick trip from my neighborhood. Parking was a breeze, which is always a good start. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was the variety. There are quite a few different stalls, each with its own menu.
I took a lap around to see all the options. They’ve got your classic pizza and pasta joints, but I also saw a place serving up some tasty-looking sandwiches. After a bit of browsing, I settled on a pasta place that had a line, figuring that must mean it’s good.

- Ordered a plate of spaghetti with meatballs. It looked pretty basic, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want.
- Waited about ten minutes for my food, which wasn’t too bad considering the lunch rush.
- Grabbed a table. The seating area is spacious, with plenty of tables, although a lot of them were taken.
- Dug into my pasta.
The sauce was rich, the meatballs were flavorful, and the pasta was cooked just right. Honestly, it hit the spot perfectly.
While I was eating, I people-watched a bit. There was a good mix of folks – families, office workers on their lunch break, and a few solo diners like myself. It’s a lively spot, but not so loud that you can’t have a conversation.
My Final Thought
After I finished my meal, I grabbed a coffee from another stall, just to round things out. All in all, I’d say the Sorrento Food Court is a solid choice if you’re looking for a quick, satisfying Italian meal. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other stalls.
