Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Myrtle Beach place. Folks keep talkin’ ’bout it, sayin’ it’s got them indoor water parks. Now, I ain’t never been one for fancy stuff, but even this old woman can see the appeal of splashin’ around when it’s cold outside. Heck, even when it’s warm, I reckon!
So, they got this website, somethin’ called “Vacation Myrtle Beach.” Sounds fancy, don’t it? They say it’ll help ya plan your trip. Just a few clicks, they say. Easy peasy, like makin’ biscuits, I guess. But I ain’t got no computer, so I reckon I’ll just listen to what folks say.
One place they keep jabberin’ about is Dunes Village Resort. Big place, apparently. Got all sorts of water stuff. Whirlpools, they call ’em. Fancy word for a hot tub, I figure. And them water parks, right there inside! No need to worry ’bout the weather, which is good, ’cause I ain’t got time for freezin’ my old bones.

They say Myrtle Beach has some of the best indoor water parks. Perfect for families, they say. Kids can have a ball, splashin’ and playin’. Dunes Village got thirty – thirty somethin’! – water slides or somethin’. Can you imagine? Thirty! My grandkids would go wild, I tell ya. They’d be like chickens let loose in a cornfield.
- Lazy rivers, they got. Now that sounds nice. Just floatin’ along, no cares in the world. Like sittin’ on the porch swing, but wetter.
- And then them slides. Some are fast, some are slow. Some are twisty, some are straight. Something for everyone, I suppose. Even this old lady might try a slow one, if they ain’t too high. I ain’t lookin’ to break a hip, you know.
This website, “Vacation Myrtle Beach,” they keep sayin’ it’s the best. I don’t know nothin’ ’bout that, but folks seem to trust it. So, if you’re plannin’ a trip, maybe give it a look-see. Or just ask your neighbor. That’s what I always do.
Another place they talk about is Crown Reef Beach Resort. Sounds fancy too, with that “Crown” and all. They got a waterpark too, and they say it’s one of the best for water fun. USA Today even said so! Can you believe that? USA Today! I seen that paper at the grocery store once. Must be important.
Now, I heard tell that there’s water parks all over the place. Even in Texas, they got one called Kalahari Resort. USA Today, they went and named it the best in the whole country. Imagine that! But then, they got even bigger ones overseas, like in Poland and Germany. Big as a whole town, I bet. But I ain’t travelin’ that far, no sir. Myrtle Beach is far enough for me.
So, if you’re lookin’ for some fun, rain or shine, winter or summer, sounds like Myrtle Beach is the place to be. Indoor water parks, they call ’em. Sounds like a good time to me. Just pack your swimsuit and your towel, and don’t forget your floaties! And maybe a good book for when you’re tired of splashin’. This old woman likes a good mystery, you know.
In short, Myrtle Beach is full of them indoor water parks. Dunes Village, Crown Reef, and a whole bunch of others. Good for families, good for kids, good for anyone who likes to have a little fun. And that’s all there is to it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk of water parks made me hungry.
