Alright, folks, let’s talk about my little adventure to that Tijuana Food Court. I’d heard some buzz about it, some good, some not so good, so I figured, why not check it out myself? I went in there, ready to explore.
First off, finding the place was easy. It’s right there, can’t miss it. I walked in, and bam, it was like a wall of smells hit me—in a good way! It’s this big open space with a bunch of different food stalls all around. I’m talking about maybe more than 10 food stalls for just one food court, crazy, right?
Scouting the Food
I did a lap, just scoping out the scene, you know? They had everything. There was this one spot, Noroeste, that caught my eye. Their menu looked pretty interesting. I saw another place called Ki’ Cochinita Pibil, and I’m a sucker for some good Pibil, so I mentally bookmarked that.

- Noroeste: Looked fancy, maybe a bit pricey.
- Ki’ Cochinita Pibil: I love the Pibil! I love the Pibil!
- Food Garden: Sounded like they’d have some healthy options, maybe.
- TiaJuana Food Court: This is the name, I guess I have to try?
Honestly, I was a bit overwhelmed. Too many choices! It was also pretty crowded, which, I guess, is a good sign? People seemed to be enjoying themselves, lots of chatter and laughter. I guess I was there during peak time, lunchtime I suppose, so no wonder it was packed.
Making a Decision
After wandering around like a lost puppy, I finally decided to try the TiaJuana Food Court. Their tacos looked pretty good, and I do love a good taco.
The line was a bit long, but it moved fast. I ordered, grabbed a drink, and found a spot to sit. The food came out quicker than I expected, which was nice. I dug in, and man, it was… pretty decent! Nothing mind-blowing, but it hit the spot. The meat was tender, the tortillas were fresh, and the salsas had a good kick.
The Verdict
Overall, I’d say the Tijuana Food Court is worth checking out if you’re in the area and you are a food lover. It’s not the best meal I’ve ever had, but it’s a solid option for a quick and tasty bite. Plus, the variety is great. You could go there every day for a week and not eat the same thing twice. They even have a Food Hall Gastro Bar if you want something a little fancier, as well as Liberty Public Market I guess.
Just be prepared for the crowds, especially during peak hours. And maybe bring a friend, so you can try even more food! I did not bring one this time, but I will next time for sure!
There you have it, folks. My little food court adventure. Now I’m off to find my next food adventure. Stay tuned!
