- They say it helps them keep things organized. No more rummagin’ through folders lookin’ for someone’s chart. It’s all right there on the screen, neat as a pin.
- And apparently, it can help them see patterns. Like, if a bunch of folks in town come down with the same cough, they can use this excel thing to figure out what’s goin’ on.

Now, I ain’t never used this excel myself, but from what my grandbaby tells me, it’s got all sorts of fancy features. You can make charts and graphs and all sorts of things. I guess that helps them doctors see things more clearly. You know, a picture’s worth a thousand words, they say.
My grandbaby, she’s a nurse, ya know, bless her heart. She says it helps her keep track of her patients. She can see right away who needs what medicine and when. And she can make sure she ain’t missin’ nothin’. That’s important, ’cause makin’ a mistake with medicine can be a real bad thing.

Now, I hear tell there’s classes you can take to learn how to use this excel thing. And there’s even special classes just for folks in the healthcare field. I guess that makes sense. Doctorin’ is different from farmin’, so you gotta learn how to use the tool for your particular job.
My grandbaby, she took one of them classes. Said it was real helpful. Learned all sorts of tricks and tips. Now she’s whizzin’ around on that computer like a pro. Makes me proud, I tell ya.

And it ain’t just for doctors and nurses, neither. I heard tell that folks in the hospital office use it too. For keepin’ track of supplies, and payin’ bills, and all that sort of thing. Seems like this excel thing is pretty darn useful.
It sounds like a powerful tool, this Excel. If it helps folks take better care of each other, then I reckon it’s a good thing. Lord knows, we all need a little help now and then. And if a fancy computin’ machine can make things easier for them doctors and nurses, then I’m all for it.

Said it’s real handy, ’cause they can learn on the go. Times sure have changed, haven’t they? Back in my day, we didn’t have no fancy phones, let alone apps to teach ya how to use a computin’ machine.
