Today, I went to check out the new Bok Tower Food Court. I’d heard some good things, so I was pretty excited to see what all the fuss was about.
Getting There
First off, I drove over to the Bok Tower Gardens area. It’s a beautiful spot, you know, really peaceful and green. Parked the car – parking was easy enough, no issues there. Then I walked towards where I thought the food court was. It wasn’t super clear where to go at first, but I found it eventually. It’s tucked away a bit, not right out in the open.
First Impressions
When I got inside, I was pretty impressed. It’s a big space, lots of tables and chairs, and it’s all very clean and modern-looking. There are big windows all around, so you get a nice view of the gardens while you eat. There was a decent crowd, but it didn’t feel too packed. I walked around, checking out all the different food stalls.

Food Options
- Rodeo Diner: This place has your classic American diner food – burgers, fries, shakes, that sort of thing. I saw some people eating there, and the food looked pretty good.
- Sazon: This one’s got Latin American food. I noticed they had empanadas, tacos, and some other dishes I didn’t recognize but looked tasty.
- Siam Orchid: This is the spot for Thai food. I’m a big fan of Thai, so I was definitely keeping this one in mind.
- The Blue Palmetto Cafe: They had a mix of stuff here – sandwiches, salads, soups. More of a lighter fare kind of place.
Making a Decision
After walking around and looking at everything, I decided to go with Siam Orchid. I ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken, and a Thai iced tea. Paid for my food, and they gave me one of those buzzer things that goes off when your order’s ready.
Eating and Enjoying
I found a table by the window and waited for my food. It didn’t take too long before the buzzer went off. I grabbed my tray and dug in. The Pad See Ew was really good! The noodles were cooked just right, the chicken was tender, and the sauce was flavorful. The Thai iced tea was a nice touch, sweet and refreshing. I sat there, eating my food and enjoying the view.
Wrapping Up
After I finished eating, I cleaned up my table and headed out. Overall, I had a really good experience at the Bok Tower Food Court. The food was tasty, the atmosphere was nice, and it was a pleasant place to spend an hour or so. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other food stalls. Maybe next time I’ll hit up that Sazon place, those empanadas were calling my name!
