Okay, so the other day I went to Plaza Las Americas. It’s this huge shopping center, apparently the biggest one in the whole Caribbean. I heard they’ve got like, over 300 stores, and honestly, I was more interested in the food.
I got there, and started walking around, just taking it all in. After browsing through some shops, my stomach started to grumble. That’s when I remembered about the food court. So, I made my way up to the top floor, following the signs and the general flow of the hungry crowd.
And let me tell you, when I got there, it was like a fast-food paradise. You name it, they had it.

- McDonald’s: I saw people walking around with those classic golden arches, so I knew there was a McDonald’s nearby.
- Burger King: Yep, saw that one too, right next to a long line of people probably craving Whoppers.
- Johnny Rockets: I didn’t go in, but I peeked inside, they had that whole retro diner vibe going on.
- Olive Garden, Starbucks, Chili’s: These were there too. I mean, it really is a pretty big food court.
- Others: Firehouse Subs, Subway, Taco Bell, and a bunch of other places.
I walked around for a bit, trying to decide what to get. I almost went for a sub, but then I saw the lines and thought, “Nah, I’m not waiting that long.” Ended up grabbing a quick burger. It was okay, nothing special, but hey, it filled me up.
After eating, I walked around the mall some more, did some window shopping, and eventually called it a day.
All in all, Plaza Las Americas is a massive place. If you’re into shopping, you could probably spend a whole day there. And the food court? It’s definitely got something for everyone, especially if you’re into the usual fast-food stuff.
