Today, I felt like having some Chinese takeout. I’ve been working from home all day and didn’t feel like cooking, so I decided to explore what’s around Court Street.
I grabbed my phone and fired up that food delivery app, you know, the one everyone uses. Typed in “Chinese food” and set the location to Court Street. I started browsing, there were so many options!
I scrolled through a bunch of places, checking out menus and pictures. Some had the usual General Tso’s chicken and fried rice, while others had some more interesting stuff. I spent a good fifteen minutes just looking, making sure I picked something good.

Finally, I found this place called “Golden Wok.” They had some pretty good reviews, and their menu had a nice mix of classic dishes and some things I hadn’t tried before. I was feeling adventurous, so I decided to give it a shot.
I picked a few things that caught my eye:
- Kung Pao Chicken: I love spicy food, and this one looked like it had a good kick.
- Vegetable Lo Mein: Gotta have some noodles, right?
- Egg Rolls: A classic. Always a good appetizer.
I placed my order and the app said it would take about 45 minutes. Perfect, I had time to finish up a few things around the house.
About 40 minutes later, I got a notification that the food was here! I went downstairs, grabbed the bag, and thanked the delivery guy.
I opened up the containers and the smell was amazing. Everything looked so good. I dug into the Kung Pao Chicken first, and it was delicious! Just the right amount of spice. The lo mein was also on point, and the egg rolls were crispy and flavorful.
Overall, it was a great experience. I got to try a new Chinese place, the food was tasty, and the delivery was super convenient. I’ll definitely be ordering from Golden Wok again. Maybe next time I’ll try their dumplings. They looked pretty good in the pictures. I am stuffed now, time for a food coma!
