Alright, let me tell ya ’bout this River Hills Mall food court. It’s a big place, real big, like bigger than my whole farm back in the day. They say it’s got somethin’ for everyone, food-wise, ya know?
First off, they got this place called the Carousel Cafe Food Court. Sounds fancy, don’t it? But it ain’t all that hoity-toity. They got all sorts of stuff. I heard tell they’re gettin’ some new kinda food there, somethin’ called Ramen and Bubble Tea. Don’t ask me what that is, sounds like somethin’ the city folk eat. But hey, if it’s new, maybe it’s good, right?
Food Choices at River Hills Mall

Then there’s this River City Eatery. They say it’s new too. When I was there last time, I saw folks eatin’ all kinds of things. Burgers, fries, that kinda stuff. Nothin’ too crazy, which is good for me. I like my food plain and simple, ya know? Nothin’ too spicy or weird.
- They got places for burgers and fries.
- Some places got that fancy Asian food, but I ain’t tried it.
- And of course, they got places for snacks and drinks, like soda and ice cream. My grandkids love that stuff.
Now, this mall, they say it’s the best one around here. Serves all them folks in southern Minnesota and even up in Iowa. That’s a lot of mouths to feed, I tell ya. And this mall, it’s big, real big. They say it’s over 800,000 square feet. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds like a whole lotta space. And they got a Target store there too, so you can get your groceries and your food all in one place. That’s handy, I guess.
Finding Good Food at the Mall
Folks always askin’ me, “Where’s a good place to eat?” Well, I tell ’em, it depends on what you like. If you want somethin’ quick and easy, there’s plenty of places. If you want somethin’ fancier, well, they got that too, I reckon. But me, I just want somethin’ that fills my belly and don’t cost too much. That’s why I like them burger places. Can’t go wrong with a good burger and fries, right?
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout Tripadvisor. They say it tells ya where the good restaurants are. I ain’t never used it myself, but I guess it’s helpful for them city folk. Me, I just look around and see what smells good. Or I ask someone who looks like they know what they’re talkin’ about. Like that nice young lady at the information desk. She told me where to find the best ice cream. My grandkids were happy, that’s for sure.
So, if you’re ever at the River Hills Mall and you’re hungry, don’t worry. They got plenty of places to eat. From that fancy Asian food to good ol’ burgers and fries, they got it all. Just walk around, look at the menus, and see what tickles your fancy. And if you’re really lost, just ask someone. Folks are usually pretty friendly ’round here. Just don’t expect me to know what all that fancy food is. I’m just a simple country gal, ya know?
River Hills Mall: More Than Just Shopping
And it ain’t just about the eatin’, mind you. This mall, it’s got everything. Clothes, shoes, toys, you name it. You can spend a whole day there and still not see it all. But for me, the food court is the best part. After all that shoppin’, you gotta fuel up, right? And there’s nothin’ better than a good meal after a long day of walkin’ around.
So, that’s my take on the River Hills Mall food court. It’s big, it’s got lots of choices, and it’s a good place to grab a bite to eat. Whether you’re lookin’ for somethin’ fancy or somethin’ simple, you’ll find it there. Just remember to wear your walkin’ shoes, ’cause that mall is huge! And don’t forget to bring your appetite, ’cause there’s plenty of good food to go around. And if you see me there, say hello! I’ll probably be the one with the ice cream cone, treatin’ my grandkids.
