Alright, let’s talk about that food court at the Eden Prairie mall. You know, the place where you go when you’re tired of shoppin’ and your stomach starts grumblin’ like a bear in winter.
First off, they got all sorts of places to eat there. I mean, more than you can shake a stick at. They got that Pasta Zola place, someone told me they got some fancy noodles there. Healthy stuff, they say. I don’t know much about healthy, I just like things that taste good. Then there’s that Melts Burgers… now *that’s* somethin’ I understand. A good burger, some fries, that’s what fills ya up. They also got somethin’ called Asian Express, and another one, Asia Mall. Lots of Asian food, I guess. Never tried it much myself, too much spice for my old taste buds.
And then, oh, then there’s Leeann Chin. Now, I’ve been there a few times. They got that orange chicken, kinda sweet, kinda tangy, and that rice. Good for when you’re in a hurry and don’t want to spend too much money. You can even order that stuff online now, they say. Or get it delivered right to your door! Imagine that, food comin’ right to you, don’t even gotta put on your shoes. But I like goin’ to the mall myself. Gives me a chance to see people, you know? Watch ’em scurrying around like ants.

- They got burgers, so that’s good for the young’uns.
- They got noodles, for the fancy folks.
- And they got that Asian food, for… well, I don’t know who that’s for, but it’s there.
Someone told me that the mall is called Eden Prairie Center and some company called Jones Lang LaSalle takes care of it. Big names, I guess. They got a Kohl’s and a Target there too. So, you can shop for clothes, and then you can eat. Makes sense, I guess. You gotta keep your strength up for all that walkin’ around.
Now, I ain’t no fancy food critic or nothin’. I just know what I like. And that food court, well, it’s got somethin’ for everyone. Even a picky old lady like me can find somethin’ to eat. It’s clean, too. That’s important. I don’t like eatin’ in no dirty place. And the folks that work there, they’re mostly nice enough. They take your order, give you your food, don’t bother you too much. That’s what I like.
Dosirak and Home Taste… I heard of those too. Never been but I heard them mentioned somewhere. The dosirak, sounds foreign… like that Asia Mall place. Home Taste, now that sounds more my style. Like somethin’ your grandma would make, maybe. Probably some mashed potatoes, maybe some meatloaf. Comfort food, they call it. Yeah, comfort food is good for the soul.
So, if you’re ever at that Eden Prairie Mall and you’re hungry, go check out the food court. It ain’t the fanciest place in the world, but it’ll do. You’ll find somethin’ you like, I guarantee it. And if you don’t, well, then you’re just too picky. That’s all there is to it. Now, I’m gonna go get myself a cup of coffee. All this talkin’ about food has made me hungry.
They said it’s one of the top 10 best food court in Eden Prairie. Well I guess that makes sense. It’s got everything you need there, just like I said. And it’s easy to get to. Plenty of parkin’, too. That’s important, specially for us older folks, you know, with the bad knees and all.
So there you have it, my take on the food court at the Eden Prairie mall. It ain’t much, but it’s honest. Just like me.
