Okay, so the other day I was hankering for some good, cheap eats, and I remembered this place called Rancho San Miguel. It’s got a food court, and I’d heard good things, so I figured, why not give it a shot?
I drove over to the one on Bradshaw Road, and walked in. First thing I noticed was that it’s not just a food court – it’s inside a grocery store. I looked for the food area and found it. I grabbed a menu and started browsing.
Man, the choices were overwhelming! They’ve got everything from classic burritos to these huge bowls that looked like they could feed a small army. I saw some online reviews talking about how you can share a bowl with someone else, and they’re under 11 bucks! That’s the kind of deal I’m always looking for.

- They had this new version of a breakfast burrito that caught my eye.
- Scrambled eggs, tater tots, cheese, salsa – all wrapped up and they say it’s a pound! That’s my kinda breakfast, lunch, and maybe dinner!
The line was kinda long, which is usually a good sign, right? People were ordering all sorts of stuff. I noticed they were also selling big trays of what looked like Mexican rice and other sides. I started thinking that’d be perfect for a party or something.
Anyway, I finally decided on one of those giant burrito bowls. I watched them make it, and they really pile on the ingredients. I paid, grabbed a fork, and found a table.
Let me tell you, it was even better than I expected. Fresh, flavorful, and definitely enough for two people, although I managed to finish most of it myself, no problem.
Overall
Rancho San Miguel is a solid choice if you’re looking for tasty, affordable Mexican food. The food court is a nice, casual spot, and they’ve got something for everyone. I’ll definitely be going back to try some of their other dishes, and maybe I’ll even grab some groceries while I’m there next time!
